aiyah, the map-making results were posted in one of the original thread's first posts, or last posts. i dont remember which thread.
the september 23 (my birthday!) one is Map of the Month. the other one was melee map-making.

Yeah, I am talking about the MELEE one, taht was a month or two ago. Nobody has said anything about it, the mods screwed up on it by losing all the maps from the first thread and now they aren't even talking about it anymore, pretending it never happened.

maybe i wasn't specific enough, this is the melee one. i know it was posted because i personally saw it, and i received my prize.
Everything map making related is in the Maps and Replays section.

This site's mods need some better organization skills.. Don't start a mapmaking competition if you're not going to finish it.

I am not sure where the results are posted, however I did get a PM and the prizes for the categories I won.
Is there any mapmaking competition that is still active? (That I can enter?)

Of course! Please refer to our October Map of the Month (http://www.starcraft2forum.org/forums/index.php?topic=2398.0) map submission thread! Hurry up though because the due date is fast approaching!

I doubt I'll be entering this contest. I barely got time to even game or map make at this point. A lot of work just came in. So I'm pretty much busy... stupid work!!

Like EatMeReturns said, the competition was finished and the prizes given out, a while ago. The confusion arose from the fact that I posted the results on the end of the submissions thread, sorry. Here's a copy of the results:

Due to my extreme lack of time, I am going to have to invoke the Final Authority clause, and just declare the winners.
I looked over the maps, knocked them off my list one by one. I then brought in a friend, an experienced SC player, and we decided from what I had not eliminated. I also effectively disconsidered maps by players that have been inactive: paragon and Zereon.
We both agreed on the Overall/Balanced winner, but I decided on the Aesthetic winner myself.
Best Overall Map: Station Vigilant by ImaGiNe (4000 minerals + Probe)
Best Balanced Map: Station Vigilant by ImaGiNe (2000 minerals + Drone)
Most Aesthetically Appealing Map: Immortal Tears by EatMeReturns 1000 minerals + Drone) (Note: this map was noted to have unfair base setups(not itself against the rules), even after the actual rule violation had been fixed, so it couldn't be considered for the other two awards.)
