Welcome to the madness man.

It probably also has several highways even though it's thin. Our country is much smaller than chile but it has so many highways that you can even get lost to.

what i mean is one main high way like a major artery, then there are smaller highways branching off it
Well, if you mean a main highway, I think there are about 5 in our country. I'm not very sure though.

Yes, is one long highway, called "Ruta 5" But isn't connect all the country, the south is divided with lakes, water, and ice... and is very dificult connect the south with the north... the only way if you want go there is in a plane, by a ship (boat), our pass to Argentina...
I love my country =)
I LOVE STARCRAFT!!!

oh yeah, the south of Chile has very low longitude, fairly close to Antarctica right? plus it's where the Andes mountain range starts/ends so there must be snow all year round

Not so much, only in winter, in the Andes, and the south. Punta Arenas is the last city of Chile, the weather is very strange, in one second is beatiful and the next second is raining.
Well, i live in Concepcion, in the middle of Chile

yeah on one side it have coast to the pacific ocean the other side the andes mountain range. if you stand on the mountain you can see far into the ocean, it should be a spectacular view
Yeah. Too bad the pacific ocean is so wide you won't be able to see our country. LOL. ;D
