My name is a quiet tribute to my friends, family, personality, and interests. I was in 6th grade when my half-sister told me she was pregnant: at the time I was working on a poster for my science class: a model of the Neon atom. So in that sense, 10-Neon reflects the moment when I learned about my nephew.

I love science, and chemistry is a part of that. The use of an atomic number and name reflects that interest. Also, neon is a noble gas used in several types of lasers, incidentally, Optics is one of my favorite scientific fields.

You probably don't see it here, but in real life I am a shockingly quiet person. My shyness and silence are pretty much all that's shocking about me tough, because I consider myself to be much more mentally stable, and self-aware than most of my peers. The element neon, like all of the other noble gasses, is extremely stable and nonreactive- it doesn't readily interact with other elements, and it does not require other atoms' electrons in order to become stable.

The literal reason for the choice of this name is that when I finally got my best friend to buy StarCraft, he chose a name with an element in it (Sodium70mg, straight from a can of Mountain Dew). I decided to change my battle.net screen name to mimic it.

On a practical side, my name is easy to shorten. People can refer to me as "10" or "Ne" (Not Neo, please!) and with two letters address a message to me. It helps a lot in online games. Some of my friends have adopted element names as well, and we refer to each other by our atomic symbols, like Ne, Na, B, and As.

Well when I was younger, I used to not have a specific screen name. I would just type some random, cool-sounding word and play. When I got to Reject, I noticed that some people liked it, so for some strange reason I stopped at it.

The 6s have a different story. When the time had come for me to create my first Yahoo Messenger/Mail ID, the first thing I tried was Reject. It was taken, so I noticed that it was 6 o'clock so I tried Reject_6. It turned out that it was taken as well. I tried Reject_66 and Reject_666 next. Nothin' :P. Being on the verge of giving up and choosing a completely random name, I tried tried my last choice as Reject_666_6, and by jove it worked!

Also, when I was younger I read heavily about ancient history as well as Greek mythology. Agamemnon was a Greek general in the Paris/Troy story.

i have quite a few screen names, namely gr3ykn1ght, nitrofusion, flameshadow, and the observer. well, the history is mainly speculation.

greyknight was when i saw that there were nicknames like whiteknight and darkknight (or blackknight, but it sounds a bit racist though), and these names kinda had the light and dark side thing to it (quote star wars),so i thought of using greyknight, since i'm just in the middle, not entirely bad and not entirely good. also, it sounded cool, and coincidentally, nobody was using it.

nitrofusion and flameshadow came together, they're just names i came up with, also they're both convenient, you can call me either nitro or flame over the internet.

theobserver is a nickname i also picked when i kinda realised my game tactics is to just wait and observe what others do before attacking their weak point. i kinda realised it when i was playing starcraft with my bro, my dad and my sis, and when i was allied with my bro i was using observers to scout and observe my dad's base first. life's about the same if you think about it, cos you always have to think and observe before doing anything.

I was using thiefingdude as screen name in sc2forums. As I took a look at the "shop" section, I've noticed an item called "Starcraft 2." I didn't believe it. Too good to be true.

Then I made a thread about if it was real or not. To my surprise, it was real! As I got greedy, I've started making multiple files and gave the 100 minerals that you start out with. I got 700 minerals until I was banned (lol). I didn't think that sc2forum makers weren't lazy like the ones in Maplestory.

So...I wanted another file and made a new one called "TerranGod." Then...the story...never ends...

But it's not just roleplaying, we all behave differently in various situations, for example generally people talk in different manner to their parents then they do to their friends or boss at work.
My nick MAY sound like 'first thing that came to my mind' but is not, also I use it for nearly 8 years over the internet (whenever it's not taken yet, which as you may guess is not often)
I also never change it, like adding 'e's or numbers (Meeeee, Meee123 etc.)... maybe once or twice ;p But usually if I need something else I use different nicknames like Laird, Gorun, Mortazar among others.

Any way yeah... I got my name becuase I've always been the worst person at coming up with a name, even just a random one. In fact when I had Guild Wars I couldn't come up with anything at all so I named my character "I Hate Names" any way I first got this name becuase I went to a friends house and he showed me this little online game and wanted me to make a account. So I sat, and sat and sat thinking and he got mad at me taking so long and bugging me to type something in. So I put in ssj becuase I use to watch dragonball Z which was an anime and it just popped in my head, and than I put fox just becuase I think fox is a cool name.
