This just happened while everything was in chaos at my thread, to be honest, I thought sc2forums was playing some joke.

I am extremely glad that it was caught in time. I had logged on for about 10 mintues this morning (my time) and it felt like watching a train wreck first the spammy posts then the site going to down for maitnence.

That must have been before I got on, when I logged in noon in my time, everything was working fine and seemed normal. I'm glad the problem was fixed relatively quickly after sc2forums discovered what was happening.

I would speculate that it was ProtossCommander's doings, although I have no proof. We all know, however, how he responded to sc2forums before when he was banned for a couple of days, which resulted of him permanently banned.

Guessings will never show the truth. No matter who did it, but this showed main problem - one admin for such big site is not enough(I'm not talking about global mods). sc2forums could learn from this and choose from global mods or whatever second admin, what usually happens in '.org' sites.

I suggested that to him right after he restored the site but he said we don't need another admin and that this was a special case which won't happen again. Personally, I'd feel safer with 2 admins because a) if one account is hacked, the site can be saved under the other and b) we'd have an admin around during sc2's 3 week of vacation.

But if he says we don't need more then I trust him... I guess.

He flooded sc2's inbox with PMs (46 I think) for which he got a 3 day ban. He couldn't wait to get back here so he somehow managed to post with his banned account which got banned again but this time for good. He then created an account called Zergcaptain or something like that and continued to spam sc's inbox with links to his "new videos" and kept calling him mr.head (LOL) so that account got banned as well and... we haven't heard from him since.
This is what I know of, there might be more to it.

Yeah PC was kind of annoying. He asked me a stupid question or made a stupid request (buy the probe for 500?) Every single day.

As for a second admin that would be nice because with one person and the sheer volume of requests it takes him at least a week to do something.
