I would have been very excited to hear about D3, but just a little more excited about SC2.. it's way over due..

It's kind of sad though because now we probably wont see D3 any time soon :(

oh yea...you know its going to come sometime soon. maybe they will make us wait another nine years like they did for starcraft. but! if there is one thing we have learned about blizard...they don't give up a good game, they just keep remaking it till it turns into crap (*cough*wow)

Checkout Hellgate: London. Its being made by the original people who made the Diablos. It should be able to tide you over.

I wouldn't say they they all turn into crap.. Diablo 2 was a great improvement over Diablo.. Also, BW was an awesome expansion.. The Warcraft franchise did get pretty crappy around W3. However, I did play WoW for a good while.. and it is a pretty good game.. just not entirely my style (Im an FPS RTS S&M kind of guy) ;)

!! Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne rocked, I don't care what you say :) It was a great game. I've always preferred starcraft over the warcrafts though just because starcraft was more about huge armies and such. WC3 required too many tiny skirmishes/micro-mangement of abilities for my tastes.

I have heard that Blizzard is not going to make Diablo3. Another company is going to make it, and I can't remeber why.
But I know that it is going to be totaly diferent from Diablo2 and not the Blizzard style if it is going to be made.

Most of the dev team that made the diablos left the company and formed there own. They are making a game called hellgate: london which is as close to diablo 3 as anyone is going to get for a while.

Diablo did great things for the RPG genre..

Starcraft did great things for the PC gaming industry..

take your pick ::)
