I think it still will be still the most popular SC2 site, because of it's community and most succesfull forum system ever seen. About competetive SC2 gaming in this site not sure, unless admin finds second admin, who's interested making this site attractive for pro-gamers. Pro-gaming sites are usually based on staff, and in this site only admin factically have power to change something...

I think that in preparation for the inevitable encyclopedia of units that this site will have when the game comes out, we should start saving stats now so we can look back and laugh at how imbalanced the units were. Just imagine how much will change in 6 months.

The site will still be running, but more videos will be found of people's replays and of threads talking about recent games where they ownd some random noob online. I plan to stay on this site, it's too much fun to talk with random strangers about a game that I haven't played for too long.

I had a nightmare... In future, this site will turn into one big animated GIF image in background with huge animated signatures 10MB each, you can watch whole TV shows and series on those. Horrible inflation will happen, and many users will bankrupt and some will be selling their pets in unbelievable prices. Admin will be spammed every day with useless PM's, finally he'll give up and move from Australia to New Zealand, starting his own kiwi business and leaving site management for random people...

Well if I were admin I'd sell it too. And for the record, I actually like Facebook hold'em poker, kills time, on the other hand, I hate every other app. (I scored 69 on IQ test O.o)

Why sell it?!? That sucks... And why would the forums be abandoned after Starcraft 2 comes out? All you guys are talking about Map of the Month stuff, competitions etc. Doesn't anyone around here think there will be some add-ons to Starcraft 2 we can discuss? I doubt that there won't be any add-ons at all, so there will be plenty to discuss.

Also, when the game will finally released and everyone around here actually starts to PLAY Starcraft 2, then the strategy board will really start to get popular, since we will be able to think of decent strategies that way. (Since the unit / building stats won't change anymore, except with patches and stuff like that.)

And what about possible mods? With another board added to the forum you could talk about your own mods and things like that to. I doubt that no one is going to understand the new editor. If it is similar to the one included with Warcraft 3, we are able to create some awesome maps of our own.

No more starcraft2forums.org after the game is released? I don't think so! :thumbup:
