View Full Version : Is there any way to change what the techs do?

Does any 1 know is there is any special starcraft map editor that would let me change what the techniques like psionic storm do i want it to do more damage but i cannot find a way to do so any advice would be good :)

there is no map editor that can do that.

however, you can get in to moderation, and learn how to mess with the core of starcraft.

then make an editor for your moderation.

but that is above my head, and will take a very long time. Also, normal ppl playing normal sc would not b able to play ur map.

..there are editors that can do it, but they all require a degree of technical expertise. For example, if you don't have some knowledge of ASM, forget it.

Your best bet may be to wait for Project Revolution to finish, and then use it.

Project Revolution will never be finished, least ways not before SC2. There are some really powerful editors for SC out there, but they're also much harder to use than the standard editor.

i like scmdraft2
that works well but i dont think that you can change the power of psi storm :-\

Okay! The only way to play around with core settings such as the amount of damage dealt by the Psionic Storm and/or it's duration is to use starcraft modding programs (Basically what EMR said). These programs include items like IceCC, Arsenal Zero, StarGraft, etc. etc. and most, if not all modified games can be played online using ShadowFlare's SCMLoader program.
