Question about Arcade Scores - Beating your own

Hey, I've been playing a game, and as of right now, I'm in second place. Thing is, I've upped my own score twice now. I recieved 250 minerals for getting there in the first place, and another 250 each time I beat my own score, but didn't move up to first. Is this supposed to happen? If not, I think I owe you guys 500 minerals. :P

I moved your topic to the arcade section becuase that is the most appropiate area for your question.

As for your question I do think that is what is suppose to happen, but you shouldnt be intentionally setting a score you can beat just for the minerals because that would be against the forum rules (I think) and at the very least it would be against the spirit of the arcade.

You should be submitting your best score each time.

Do not continually NOT submit a score so you can repeatedly beat it.

This will show up in the arcade log where the admin will see it. It will be flagged. So I would suggest submitting your scores to avoid penalty. :D

Sorry about posting in the wrong forum, and i'm not intentionally trying to do it, I'm just getting better at the game. It's the new one, so I'm gonna get better. I just wanna get first place. And it auto-submits I think, so there isn't really anything I can do to stop it.

Then it's most likely a glitch if you can't submit your score.

No no, I mean it submits everytime, like it or not. So if you beat the score, It will submit it automatically.

sc2forums picks the my worst days to release games. I wait weeks for a new game, and the one day that I don't get on until 2PM is the day he makes a new one. I think he does that on purpose. >.>

im only submitting my best or if ive beaten the HS or atleast second,
but i barely set the HS on new games because i rarely go to the arcade
