I know it is random. The admin uses a random number generator to give out minerals. Besides, I wasn't trying to get a discussion going about how much people deserve, just stating an opinion.

Then you made a good deal :) That is one of the many ways you can earn minerals - look out for bargains in the trade centre (like my newest pet, another Zealot)
