No, you need to buy something. But don't buy something JUST to give us money. This is designed for people who are already going to be buying merchandise. Might as well use us as your referrer and send some money our way as well. If you're already buying its like giving us free money. :D

I am actually glad that you were able to get a memory dealer on as an affiliate. In fact, I am glad because I will be purchasing RAM sooner or later for my laptop and desktop (and at a cheaper price than a previous site that I frequented.)

The purpose of these advertisements is laid out in all those topics that Jon posted. With enough money, there can be actual prizes to be given out in the future. The extras would also go into paying for the forum's space and bandwidth.

Well some of these are better for us than others.

For instance, Memory Giant offers us like 20% on all sales. I think Newegg only offers around 3%. But Newegg is usually cheaper. So go with the cheapest price for whatever you need. And remember, let me know before you buy some products online! I'm still working on Amazon and some gaming merchandise (gaming mice, keyboards) sites.

@ Kuvasz , I dunno what the problem is with the Dell logo... but unless you want some crazy flashy stuff, deal with it. Lol. I tried like 8 different logos and for some reason they made them all transparent...

When you do, crucial.com is really useful for figuring out what kind you should buy so it works with your system if you need it

Online shoppers be careful, theres a new virus (A kind of Trojan) that downloads itself into your computer from random site, and monitors the keys you hit in, while there is a password bar you have to enter, you account could be stolen, or w/e. So update securities, and scan your computer before buying something/entering passwords for accounts, or w/e.
