Description: How to add scanlines to any of you workpieces, they make a rather appealing look over all smooth images. Great for logos and banners.
Program Used: PhotoShop CS2
How to guide:
Step One: Open a new document 3x3 or 9x9, and draw the following with a 1px pencil: ( I used 3x3. )

Step Two: Now, draw this:

Step Three: Press CTRL + A and go to Edit > Define Pattern, choose a PatterName and save it.
Step Four: Open up an Image of your choice create a new layer, then select your paint bucket tool ( Hotkey: G ), select 'Pattern' for the fill type:

Step Five: Select your pattern and fill the layer. ( The one we made earlier. )

Tips & Hints:
Lower the Opacity of the lines for a better effect..
Try the layer on 'Overlay'.
Don't use it everywhere. It gets overused easily.
