arbiters are not much use to cause if my other units are invisible the only unit they can kill is the arbiter and i lose the invisibility in less than 15 secs

15 seconds is a long time =) If you have lots and lots of units under arbiter, then it's worth it. Otherwise, it's not really.
But I use arbiters a lot ;p

Arbiters are probably the best protoss unit. They give invisibility AND recall AND stasis??? Its prolly the most rigged unit, if used right. As for DA's, I never use them cuz mc is sorta useless unless ur crazy and wanna start another race in the middle of the game, and maelstrom lasts too short, and feedback is too limited in terms of the units it can be used against. Also, feedback is too easy to forget about. For example, when a bunch of bc's come at me, I don't think "Feedback!" I think "O ****..."
I think high templars r the MOST annoying with their psionic storms.....always pops out of nowhere and massacre my zerglings
EDIT: and scouts are WAY TOO WEAK for 300 minerals and 150 gas

Reavers: they're just frustrating to use, you need a shuttle to move them around at any acceptable rate, you have to choose every shot for them if you want their splash to do any real damage, if they are building a Scarab, you can't tell them what to attack, so when it finishes, they go back to shooting at the stupidest thing possible. Unlike High Templar, they can't defend themselves against air. It just isn't any fun having to babysit these things.
yes reavors are requires lots of micro-management but a successful reavor drop in an enemy's base can turn to game around....

Reavers are insanely powerful! But yeah you can't just select a group and right-click and then go back to what you were doing.

my reavers always blew themselves up because I didn't pay attention and they began firing their scarabs to late... :P
now who said dark templar? they are the best units in the game....mind control DUH

Heh heh, good point. I must admit, it does make me feel good to see a fistful of Zerglings explode in a shower of blood and guts.
Does that make me depraved?

Nope, at least I hope not, it makes me feel good too, as long as I'm not the Zergs ofc...

I agree on the High Templars part, it's why I voted on them... and I also think Scouts are too waek, but for scouting they're good, although not late in the game I guess... =P and they can't be used too early because of the Tech required... so I don't like them much, but my younger brother always makes a large army with them, and they always surprise me by not being that bad... but I guess in the right numbers almost any unit can cause certain amounts of havoc... right?
Well, okay, not any unit, but most.
Oh, and besides High Templars, I also voted Reavers because, like High Templars with their storms, they're too good against my Zerg armies... and I picked, errhm... oh ya, Arbiters, cause they're too good against my Protoss armies (and Zerg too but they don't even need them for those most of the time xD)

Well, it could happen.
What happened here is the following.
A Zerg against 'toss and Terran, with Team Colors turned on (all good guys blue, all bad guys red, all neutral yellow). The Protoss guy has ONLY Scouts, and he set them to follow the SCV.
EDIT: Never mind with the team colors. They're all on his team....I would say Mind Control, but it only has one racial food icon....I'm not sure....Most likely a stacked map with a rescuable Drone/Probe/SCV

Hey, their blue machine gun is awesome! Everytime I make a map, I always make someone shoot that to. Especially when I make my own units.

you hate high templars when you play against´em... don´t you think???
They can stop millions.... and millions of zerglings with the powerful psionic storm...
Hallucination can become a very useful way to play with the other players... and a way to observe their bases hehe...
And last,,, but not less important,,, they´re cheap,, al least on minerals
so you can love´em or hate´em... or the opposite hehe depending how much energy you have

I only picked Scout...because that's the only Protoss unit I really dislike. Way too expensive resource wise, and I just like Corsairs a whole lot more

Corsairs are either good at killing overlords/protecting carriers, distruption web is awesome.

I just really really enjoy Corsairs, i dunno, they're really easy to mass so mass corsairs make up for the dmg + splash is awesome. Disruption Web is amazing as well, plus the pilot sounds cool :P Corsairs are actually one of my favorites

um corsairs are great at killing any zerg air except devourers. They are also good at killing other light air units like wraiths, proxy-serva.

Yeah that too but you need to have them massed to kill a real air force while 3-4 can do the harrassing/distruption web work just fine.

Yeah, but Corsairs are a hell of a lot easier to mass than Scouts and quite possibly Wraiths

It's really not hard to get about 12 corsairs and start massacring overlords or something. Then get some more and do even more with them.

scouts take twice the time as corsairs and you can't make near as many of time because of their high cost

12 is a good number of Corsairs, but after that number you may aswell use High Templars/Archons (except if the guy got Battlecruisers, either you get Mind Control or more Corsairs :))
But yeah they're awesome nonetheless.

Scouts may take longer than corsairs (and be more expensive), but they're far more effective. Their anti-air is arguably the best in the game, and they can attack surface targets, to boot. And whoever said that scouts are "weak" has obviously never massed them. A group of around 30-40 (or more) scouts is a tough thing to beat.
Anyhow, I'd have to say that I hate the Reavers the most.It's one of those units that I never get much use out of, yet is always a real pain when facing it.

its not that they're weak, its that they cost [i]waaay too much and take a really long time to get. to get 30-40 scouts you need 10 stargates and you need to be using 'show me the money'.

Arbiter - cloak your army, come on now. stasis. and of course, recall.
high templar - psi storm anyone?
zealot - the best tier one unit
probe - you need this unit to win and it doesn't have to sit there building stuff and it doesn't have to kill itself to build stuff. it just says i want this here and goes on its merry way
reaver - drop, boom, boom, pick up
dark templar - how can you not like a permanently invisible assassin unit that does 40 damage
archon - they are powerful until the shield goes down and they can still dish out a lot of damage

I love all the Protoss units; however I voted against the scouts. They are probably the worst Protoss unit, simply because they are too expensive for what they were designed to do. If only they were a little cheaper. :(
i put:
Reaver, they piss me off kill 7 hydras in one attack
Scout, absolutely useless worthless unit its not even an alternative to the carrier if you can afford these you can afford carriers.
Probe its not that i hate these but, will any one miss them they can just be replaced by another protoss builder.

i love the arbiter i would always put my armie into a big huddle take an arbiter put it in the back of an enemy base then use the recall abilitie and usally big bases arnt as well defended from the inside plus if an alies base is under attack then i just put arbiter at the base then bam instant defence

Dragoon and Scout.
Dragoon - Too clunky and not easy to move (Shuttle size 4?!?). Slow attack as well.
Scout - Upgrades aren't worth spending on it and the ground attack sucks and you can get better AA with Corsairs.

devorer was great, but only if you use it for support. it attacks too slow to be all your air consists of, but a few devourers mixed in with a bunch of mutas will take down anything. Acid spores FTW!

In terms of "looks", I voted for the Dragoons.
Dragoons just looks too goofy and too wierd for a Protoss unit. It looks like a crab shooting tennis ball at you. It just looks too ugly for my taste. I'm soo glad that Blizzard replaced the Dragoons with a much cooler look and useful mechanic in SC2. (Immortals and Stalkers).
But still, many people loved the Dragoons and are pissed that in SC2, they are getting the axe. :-\. That is something I truly don't understand.
