Ok so what is your favorite hero (character wise) in the game and why?


My favorite dude is Tassadar because he is really noble and righteous.

My favourite is Raynor, Zeratul, Fenix.
Raynor is an idealistic guy who is always willing to help.
Zeratul has the perfect character/personality as a hero.
Fenix is noble, resourceful and just great

To bad there were too many Zerg heroes.

I like Kerrigan too when she's messing around with Mengsk, or in BW, the UED, but not when she messes with Jimbo, Zer or Fenix. Also, the WTF factor rose to 250% when she killed Fenix (or rather, when i had to)

With that shrine destroyed I doubt they'll make him dragoon, but archon is still possible for blizzard

Zeratul, Fenix and Raynor, the trifecta. Fenix must return as an Immortal. Zeratul must turn into a twilight archon (not permanently for some reason) and Raynor must become a bad-ass weathered veteran general.

okok. anyway, fenix's also one of my favourite character, cos he was loyal all the way to the end... plus he gave everything, even came back as a dragoon to fight. tassadar's cool too, plus the fact he's the only high templar which can attack normally. ;D

well, i think there's no question of having new heroes in the game, we've seen a possibility in tychus findlay already, we just have to hope for more heroes. more characters to replace the dead ones. (or infested, we need more protoss and terran heroes, enough infestations and forcibly turning over to zerg tactics please)

WARBRINGER

did you know this hero reaver has really smart ai?
you know how when you unload a reaver near enemies it takes like 2 seconds to shoot?
Warbringer IMMEDIATELY fires a scarab upon unloading....
brilliant fast ai, and doesnt require me to take up two hotkeys to use them properly =)

P.S: fenixgoon also shoots faster
i know there are other slight advantages of some of the other heroes but cant think of them atm

... you didn't know? ok hero's not only have more life, armor, and attack. they also have all the upgrades ( not including weapon and armor upgrades )

i think we should start a petition for the revival of fenixalot (zealot) and camp the blizzard HQ entrance for like 2 months. maybe put a gun to Tom Chiltons head. although it is debatable whether that'd do good, last time i checked tom chilton was responsible for wow and not SC2... oh well. i hate tom.

fenix, he is simply awesome and NEEDS to be in the game. it can't be successful without Fenixalot in it.

Stukov all the way!! By far my favorite character in SC. Y'know...I always imagined the top general of a united earth to be a Russian ;D

No actually Raynor saved mankind by helping the Protoss, who never would have managed to kill the Overmind without the Raider's help.

Another question is, how the hell does the Dominion have so many damn soldiers? They get started, they fight the zerg, the UED comes and pwns them bad in like...3 major battles, they run away, they retake Korhal, Kerrigan pimp smacks Duke and destroys THAT base, then Arcturus comes and tries to take out Kerrigan but is made her b***h, and they STILL have enough soldiers to run an empire.....and this all started out with like....40,000 ppl :P

You don't seem the understand that people are always having babies. And that as a result, there are always people of every possible age. Which means that every year there is a large group of people that become eligible for military service. Since the Terran Dominion is authoritarian, it is safe to say they have mandatory military service. So, thats a lot of young men and women every year able to fill the ranks.

Well, I can understand that, like how in Egypt every male must do at least 1 year of military service. Even so, that's a lot of deaths, well, since SC2 is like 10 years after BW, I guess they've had time to regroup and everything. I just assumed that there was a huge population of Terran, kinda like how China or Russia are

Oh come on, almost no kerrigan fans? For the one mission you get her you can almost play the entire mission with her alone (okay fine, a few reavers at times). Regeneration, psionic storm, and invisibility, no other hero touches that!

Besides, she brought together tattered zergs and made it into an army where there was anarchy. She's a true mastermind. None of your heroes could out wit her and you know it!

I've decided to calculate how many Terrans there should be in the Korprulu Sector.
They started with 40,000 but 8,000 died immediately when the Sarengo crashed so we are left with 32,000 people to start with.
Now, assuming the yearly population growth rate is the same as that of the Earth currently (approximately 1.17%), and that it has been around 200 years since they crashed, there should be around 327,717 Terrans at the start of StarCraft 1. This doesn't include the fact that they glassed Korhal (killing 4 million people) or that some of the rim planets were glassed by the Protoss/overrun by the Zerg. So, this must mean that there is a ridiculously high birth rate in the future and a ridiculously low death rate despite all the wars. Perhaps they have cured every disease.

in the start of the terran vanilla compaign, they say the year is 2499. in UED victory report, the year is somwhat 2870.
i dont know. there should be millions. tarsonis is zerganized, as it says, only 4 terran world remain in K. sector (out if 13, zerg took 9). most probable is that terrans(at that time) have a much higher life expectancy (in terms of hundreds of years) so maybe thats how.

Normally i would have thrown Zeratul's name on a whim, but after spending some time on this forum, i actually kind of like Duran more. I really enjoy enigmatic characters, especially those who leave so many open-ended questions as Duran have.

For me the 1. place is for the Good guy Quartet: Tasadar (He done everithing to save all life from the Owermind, an he was successful.) He united both Protos energies, what do you want more), Jimmy (blizzcon lore: Hes the only honest man in the univers.), Zeratul & Fenix (do I need to say more?) . I just love those guys equaly. :thumbup:
2. place is Uninfested Kerigen (especiali after I learned about her past from the novels) & Stukov ( It was alreadz said here).
3. place is extremly close to the 2. and its Infested Kerigan ( Bad ass). 8)
4. is Duran and Artanis.
and 5. Duke and Rasagal (spel.?)

1) Arcturus Mengsk. the guy manages to become an emperor from outlaw! that earns my respect. leads a revolutionary extremist group, and has the most stylish outfit. he's strong, cool, and talks well. and good talkers make good leaders.

2) Aldaris. he's just so cool. he talk really well, and is strong and resolute, noble and proud. he makes others think they are inferior.

3) Stukov! vice admiral! very cool, sacrificed himself (kinda), same as above.

My list is all protoss. Zeratul, Fenix and Tassadar in no particular order are the best heroes. Zeratul has the greatest voice acting and concept, Tassadar was wise and his martyr death was very touching and Fenix was a true warrior.

remember, fenix got killed two times (first in zealot and next in dragoon) , the second time you must kill fenix in the zerg campaign in brood war. So the zerg owns you lol :o ;D :drunk:

I got so pissed off when I found out that the Torrasque resurrected. I had a blockade of Supply Depots and Tanks and he managed to get through. It sucked bad.
