Here's an interesting article I found about infested alexi stukov.
http://home.planet.nl/~aggel005/alphabeta/alexeistukov.html

I took it as total BS until I saw the drawing done by Samwise, a very prominent blizzard concept drawer (he did the phoenix on the front page of this site now)

heres a quote from the article:
"There are quite a few people who think this can’t be true, that Stukov is dead and none of this ever took place. However the two missions (Deception and Resurrection IV) are both official, which means created by Blizzard, and that only is evidence enough to consider this StarCraft canon. If that still isn’t enough evidence for you, there is also a picture of Infested Stukov. It is drawn by Samwise, an official Blizzard artist:"

so what do you think?

Kerrigan might want infested Stukov to be one of her agents since she think Stukov was twice the man to Dugalle.

maybe he was a good soldier, and commander, but his best friend has seen him die, and at the terran outro we have seen his funeral, so you think some zerg just came to get his dead body floating in space to resurect him as a zerg hybrid like Kerrigan ?
Changeing a living and healthy human like Kerrigan is one thing, Fenix was dieing (not dead) when he was placed in the dragoon, but Stukov is dead.
I think it's less posible for his returning then Tasadar as an archon or something

hey for all we know duran didnt actualy kill stukov and hes already infested somewhere...

and for the funeral they could of just launched the casket empty cause we never see a body

Wha- What the hell!!!! I don't want Stukov being some low-life zerg!!! (no offense to zerg fans) I refuse to believe it...I KNOW he's either out there ressurected by Jesus or in a Terran-Dragoon thing out there :P

Infested Stukov** was involved in a few "map of the month" by Blizzard, Deception and Mercenaries II if i'm not wrong. Also, he played a major part in Resurrection IV which is a secret StarCraft-64 map which can only be reached through completing all of StarCraft's campaigns without cheats, including Dark Origin, on the Nintendo 64.

I doubt it's canon though, but i guess we'll know that once SC2 hits the shelves.

that drawing was also done in 99. but it looks really cool, and it's an idea

Well of course it's possible...

Yes, anything is possible. It would be possible for killer rabbits to rain from the sky and eat Mengsk (Hurrah!). It would be possible for Blizzard to add a fourth race composed entirely of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Oh, and Dxun, we do know that Stukov is dead. He exploded into a bloody mess inside the Psi Disrupter. Though that wouldn't be completely accurate. He wouldn't realistically have died like that from a rifle shot; there would be a corpse left behind.

it was picked up

blizzard said they will continue the story form bw. maybe it will happen in sc2, but i dont think so.

I KNOW he's either out there ressurected by Jesus or in a Terran-Dragoon thing out there :P
lol

no way! he was blasted away by a terran ghost shotgun.

and no just because i dont want any familiar faces joining again in starcraft 2. new zerg heroes and not stukov etc.

Well, considering the ending cinema shows Stukov getting launched into space, I'd say zerg could easily have salvaged the dead body of Stukov and made it zerg. Now the question comes to the rate of decomposition of the body from the time of death to the end of the campaign and whether the brain would have enough integrity to allow for resurrection. At least being in a coffin in space would result in a preserved body... Though preservation through cryogenics is impossible without a multitude of preparation procedures that would prevent the rupture of cells during freezing and such...

zerg are able to preserve the body. alexi stukov will come agin!

What is with all the infested variants?! I am pretty sure the Zerg are tired of infesting things.

Zergling: My ancestors are tired.
Hydralisk: Lets go visit Grandma's house.

I voted No on prop b.

Considering he is in Starcraft downloadable campaign, yeah.

I would probably have to say that it IS possible but somewhat unlikely
I just played through the bonus blizzard campaigns and the SC64 one so apparently he is still alive... then again he was uninfested so he might not show up as an infested Terran.

Lemonparty

Yeah I was going to edit and say that, he gets uninfested at that level, so no he won't be infested in Brood War.

Well since kerrigan seemed to like him ''he is twice the man you ever been'', it seems like an idea :P

Hes the person I want to see the most return, I've known about how he got infested then uninfested for awhile and whenever I tell anyone they're like wtf are you smoking, I hope he returns and if he does, I can see big things for him.

He's with Raynor right, cause they escaped together after he was uninfested, so raynor's raiders are with him, then we have the UED remnants and the confederates which were with him, these 3 minor forces combined could be salvaged and united into one big power to rival and dethrone the Dominion as the Major Terran faction, and also make UED that much stronger if they comeback and if Stukov decides to side with them if they do return.

Personally i think the above scenario would be the bomb.

Shadowdragon

He wouldn't return infested. He probably won't at all. Where would he fit in? Who would he fight for? Who could trust him? Even if he was with Raynor, he would have no reason to stay (he has a family back at earth). Plus he probably wants to alert the UED of the zerg. And the people who didn't play the original downloadable game would be so they would probably complain without so much as a search on a browser...

So I gotta vote no. Besides, I didn't seem him on Raynors ship, or hear him mentioned. And I would think he would be. At the very least, he would be on the bridge.

I think Infested Stuvok will the next 'Infested Duran' since that Duran is now working the Xel'Naga and i think Kerringan found out about Duran's creation ad his plans of the Hybrid in SC2

On second thought he would probably go off on his own and try to salvage and put together some kind of force to challenge Mengsk or hold out and try to get in touch with Earth, he has a family yes, but he is also a soldier, and he knows whats at stake.

And maybe they haven't revealed him yet because they want it to be a surprise, the Marine guy disappeared from the bridge, why couldn't Stukov.

Shadowdragon
08-07-2007, 11:55 PM
Stukov wasn't mentioned by name, like the marine guy was. He wasn't even alluded to. The second in command of a UED fleet would be someone you would want around as an ally, at least someone good to be on the bridge. And don’t forget, he’s a soldier of the UED. His duty is to defend earth, not a backwater part of the universe not even under earth’s control. And so getting back and warning earth would be his major priority, especially since his friend had a family unaware of their father’s fate.

AnArchY

How are they unaware, Dugalle sent a private message to his Wife before he went and offed himself, I suppose she either didn't report it to the UED, or the UED just lied to the masses about the 'victory' to prevent the spread of panic.

Shadowdragon
08-09-2007, 06:22 AM
Dugalle's message never reached earth, since the fleet was destroyed. But now that you mention it, that was probably the most depressing cut-scene in a game.

If i ever been asked is it possible i would answered: no, its not possible. Even more: its so gay plot, that i thought i felt from chair when i heared it. Not only new Raynor looks like a drunk nerd. They want to resurect a guy who should be wasted. Geez, are they wanna do a new Lich King or something? Maybe Stukov should make a new faction in SC2: undead scourge? And with its resurected leader (FOR WHAT PURPOSE I ASKED? WHY WOULD ZERG RESURECTed A TERRAN?) take down Protoss, next Zerg, next Terran and the Orcs in the end :(
Please Blizzard, dont be so lame!

its been reported by sclegacy and other blizzcon goers that stukov probably will not return in sc2, but he may be seen again

Hadean
08-09-2007, 04:07 PM
Really now. This is absolutely mind boggling. How many of you have mentioned Resurrection, and how Infested Stukov is in there? Yet none of you even mention, HE WAS UNINFESTED IN THE MISSION! jesus christ man.

If stukov is in, he wont be infested, it's literally impossible. Those nanites would be in his system permanently methinks.

"Zomg I want infested Raynor!" "y??" "Cuz he lik drinks n shiz." "LoL!" "or omg!11!1!!!!1 what about infested mengskk?" "zomg yeh11!~!" "he cuod lik, hav the dominion of zergz1"

AnArchY
08-09-2007, 05:01 PM
Yeah, I don't want stukov to somehow become infested again, he should return and he should return as his old badass self.

AnArchY
08-13-2007, 08:25 PM
Bump.

Stukov has to return, he is the only candidate for a successor to the hated Dominion, Raynor can barely maintain control over his own ship( and would serve more of a 'general duke' role in any large new faction)

And besides for Zeratul, he is the only one who has any sort of 1st hand knowledge of what Duran is up to.

TerranGod
08-20-2007, 12:16 AM
stukov was infested but he later became uninfested by protoss i think

and i probably think kerrigan will become uninfested also
