Its simple, just quickly tech up to the Protoss Mothership, fly to your opponents base, and easily and quickly cast black hole on his main base, destroying every building and winning the game. Protoss = Godlike race in Starcraft II.

Black Hole only works for air units. If it worked for everything, that WOULD be overpowered, cuz then there'd be almost no need for any other unit in the game
It's a bit early to plan what will be the most powerful rush strategy.. we don't even know how much the mothership costs.. what if they include units requiements in the requiements?? and maybe you need a ****load of buildings.. like.. the whole protoss tech...
what I mean by units requiement is something like.. you need at least 10 immortals.. or w/e.. it would probably be an air unit to synergies a bit more with the mothership

Yes and the black hole targeting only air would make it hard on your strategy. I really couldn't see it sucking in buildings, at least.Anyways, by the time you get the mother ship it wont be a rush. If you tech straight to her; you get owned by middle-teir units. I think a nice baneling muta rush would do the job. Lolz.
If you tech straight to your mothership, ie not spending any resources by not build any units apart from probes. It'll take 15mins at least. By that time your opponent would have lots of early units already. And you'll also have to upgrade the ability for blackhole as well as the construction time needed for the mothership itself, plus the time needed for the MS to build its energy up to cast a blackhole. This will take you probably 25mins in total to be able to cast a blackhole. During this time you probably been rushed by your enemy already.

Dude, work on your grammar!
Using mothership and rush in the same sentence breaks every rule of the english language! (and common sense as well)

Baneling rush on the workers would be awesome.

The Phoenix Overload Rush. Quickly build about 10 to 20 phoenixes, then have them zoom straight to your opponent's Nexus/CC/Hatchery. Have them all overload in the middle of their workers, and then watch your foe's economy collapse. :) Repeat as necessary to other bases.
I can actually imagine a Phoenix Fleet hopping from base to base destroying all the workers; Protoss will definently be the best.

thought that only works for air

No, Phoenixes are a combination of the Scout and the Corsair. They are more effective against air units, but they still deal damage to the ground. Besides, overload is a powerful ability, and worker units are incredible weak. So unless there is a massive defense upgrade for worker units, this rush will decimate them (in theory).

A direct quote from the Starcraft II website:
The twin ion blaster armament of a phoenix is highly suited to air-to-air combat and can also be used for strafing light ground targets.

i thought when the blasters are in overload-mode they only work against air
and it doesnt state whether the overload could hit ground it just states that it charges the power through the blasters and destroys mass-air
and if the overload could hit ground then where's the resemblence of the corsair in the Phoenix? the splash!?

whilst it isnt in overload mode. where's evidence to show that it hits ground units while using overload?

A phoenix pilot can unleash a short-lived storm of destruction by overloading its warp field through the ship's ion blasters.
Since the ship's weapon are the twin ion blasters, and the descriptions say that Overload happens through the ion blasters, I guess it's safe to assume that Overload works against ground units. I'm going to go look it up on the trailers.

and im assuming it doesnt :P
i dont remember them using overload near ground units in any of the trailers from the top of my head, but please do go find out :)

eh since the phoenix is an air-superiority fighter, i highly doubt the overload abilities is used against ground targets. i think it would make the phoenix too good. Then you would also think about the terran and zerg fighers too. It could be that those twin ion armanents have a different attack value for air and ground. What's good for air might not be good on the ground, and the description "strafe light ground targets" make it seem like its weaker for the ground.

Wow people, we have a starcraft 2 programmer here! He can't be something else because he already knows the whole terran and zerg unit rosters!

hello? you clearly don't pay mucha ttention in the demo. planet cracker is for ground. gawd!!!1!!!!!!!!!211 and by the time you tech to mothership, he's got all he needs to kill it, and wipe out your base. most powerful one is either fast lings, or zealots and reapers. you did say most powerful rush right? rush is at beginning. not at end of game

Two things. First, that was incredibly rude. Second, I'm a Protoss fan. I don't really care what the zerg and terran rosters are, because I will go with Protoss FTW no matter what. :)

Protoss fan or not, we don't know **** yet of how SC2 is gonna be. For the record, if you look at the side of my comment you will see; Race: Protoss, I only play Protoss. But its a personal preference, not the best race.
Its the difference between fact and opinion man, and you spam with a needless opinionated comment that has nothing to do with the thread.
