PM me any maps you create using the map editor in code form. Please take at least 1 screen shot, and leave a short description. Feel free to give  for good, well-made maps, and check back for competitions. Thanks!

To create your own Smileys War Map, visit the arcade, play Smileys War, then click on Map Editor under the main menu. Choose one of the links (I don't know why, but I use the one at the smileys-war site) and either A) watch the video or B) mess around until you know what you're doing. To save your map, click on File in the top-left then choose Get Code. The string of characters that comes up will be the code of your map. Save this code. To play your map, go back to the actual game and choose Custom Map Game. Paste your code in the large text box, and choose your game settings. Then press next and let the mindless shooting begin!

Here is a list of each map and it's submitter. Each submitter will have his/her own .txt file for visitation (I will make these) with each of their maps in it. Updates are irregular, so expect delays.

Icicle Mountain
http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd194/eonmaster99/iciclemountain.jpg?t=1200809292

suggested players: 4 (6 for team play)
Size: medium

This map features a single mountain covered in icicles and a snowy terrain. Spawning points are on either side of the mountain, and there are no side walls to keep you from falling. Thus, do not venture far from the mountain, or risk falling off.

Control of the top will make it slightly easier to achieve victory, but there are no weapon spawns at the top, only in the center and bottom.

Miner's Cavern
http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd194/eonmaster99/MinersCavern.jpg?t=1200863034

suggested players: 2 (4 for team play)
size: medium

This map contains 2 cave-like structures on the right side that contain a weapon spawn at the entrances. On the left is a open valley for movement, and has a crevasse that players could accidentally fall through to their death. The caves can give some decent protection, but the openings offer only a limited area to fire through.

The sloped ground can be both a blessing and a curse. You can get decent protection from them, but grenade launchers may backfire back to you and most weapons become less effective.

Castle Wars
http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd194/eonmaster99/castlewars.jpg?t=1200947875

suggested players: 6 (3-3 teams)
size: large

This map contains a large castle-like room with a small cavern on the right side. Space is most open on the left side of the map, and the right side is more confined.

You will have to worry about your ammo supply since your respawn points are on the left whereas all the weapon respawns are on the right, meaning you will have to fight your way through to be able to get any respawns.

Grenade launchers will become nearly useless on this map simply becuase of the small platforms deflecting them in every direction possible, even back at you!

The person who made the game is currently trying to make the game playable online, they are just having trouble getting to money for a server to host it on.

[...] Feel free to give  for good, well-made maps, [...]

NOT cool.

Anyway, lich, the game is pretty much a copy of Soldat (http://www.soldat.pl/main.php) (with sounds blatantly stolen from it), which is a lot more elaborate and has a multiplayer feature. I'd choose Soldat over this any day.

Whats wrong with giving powerups Kuvasz? People get ones all the time for signatures they made, so why can't people get them for maps they create?

I think its a lot of fun to make them, and I encourage others to make them as well.

I agree, I didn't look at it as a copy, but all the time I spent playing it I felt "Soldat was so much better" Though I didn't play it for a longer while so I wouldn't know about sounds
And it was made by a Polish guy too ;)

Sorry kuvasz, you may have read it when only my maps were there. Yes, i can see how that may have been misread to say "give me powerups please" but that wasn't the case.

Also, I would like to point out that Soldat is not in our arcade, nor is it possible to add it to our arcade. Lastly, Soldat requires a download, which some people may not wish to commence.

Do I send the code to you? I would like to make maps, but I cant take any screenshots for the time being :( is it ok?

OK then :)

As for Soldat, it's free and occupies practically 0 disk space. It has no movement lag and is much more enjoyable. Not to mention multiplayer. I'm just saying this because I might be interested in playing a few people from here :) That game is a classic similar to SC.

GM_k, PM me the code, and post here the name of the map and a little description, even if you can't take a screenshot (PRT SCR/SYS RQ button near scroll lock, paste in paint?).

Soldat isn't on these forums, though.

EDIT: Also, another map!

Curvature
-This map is extremely vertical; explosive weapons work wonders. Watch out for comps weilding grenades and grenade launchers, as they are extremely deadly in this close-combat map. Suicides are common, as are sniper rifle headshots. You must climb on the sides to get to the 3 weapon spawns at the top. 12 Player Spawns, 50 Waypoints, 8 Weapon Spawns. Reccommended 6 players, 3v3 Teams. Large.

EDIT EDIT: Another another map!

Stepping Stones
-In Stepping Stones, you must focus much of your attention on simply jumping. Shotguns and automatic weapons work extremely well on this map, while explosives dont, because there is little ground to shoot it at. You can stand on the weapon spawns. 4 Player Spawns, 14 Waypoints, 10 Weapon Spawns. reccommended 6 Players, 2v2 Teams. Medium.

The maps are taken from the worms games. It is really fun, though not really challenging.

Which isn't challenging, the smiley wars game or worms?

I think smiley wars is fairly challenging since the AI aim is perfect, meaning the only way you can possibly win is to continually move around the map.

lol... i have, but only because ive been in the map editor, and i know all of the secret hack-cheats it tells you there. but you have to make a really good map and post it here first, and you have to keep doing that, or the cheats wont work anymore.
