View Full Version : Say something enlightening

After all my hard work in your lovely arcade I have accumulated 2709.7 minerals. Seeing as I don't really intend on 'spending' any of it I was thinking of giving it away. Unfortunately, I am a selfish person and wish something in return. Therefore, the first person who posts something in this thread that I deem legitimately enlightening to my person (something I haven't heard or thought of myself), that isnt also strictly a joke will recieve the total amount.
Be sure that I am being genuine with my judgement (it will be absolutely subjective) and fully intend an completing my side of the transaction should I see fit. There is no time period limit on entries, or entries per peson, simply the first entry to meet my criteria wins.

3 of my favourite quotes:
The optimist believes that we live in the best of all possible worlds; the pessimist fears this is true.
-----------------
The greater the gift, the more tenuous the balance between benevolence and malevolence.
-Khaldun T. Dun
-----------------------
Optimism:
"You're so optimistic; what's wrong with you?"
I'm not really that optimistic. I'm trying to make us survive, and in the course of survival, we don't have the luxury to be negative. That is a luxury that we can't afford, and we just have to do what we can do, and I think that instead of getting so upset with some people, you know or some countries which are doing this, doing that, 'how dare they', whatever; I just think that we should do what we can do.
-Yoko Ono; responding about her 'Optimism' involving Climate Change.
"Optimism is different to reality."

I'm not sure if you've got the true meaning of enlighten, but here's my contribution. It's not a funny or humorous or anything, it's basically what I try to live my life by.

When you got first place on game's highscore list you earned 500 minerals (and some for 2nd place I think)

Haha Tipical.
Also, the average person eats from 5-8 insects a year. Of course it depends on your life style and where you life. So if you keep your window open at night and has a garden with lots of plants, expect some legs in your teeth.
