With all the talk of lolcats and their beloved "cheezburgers," it's no surprise that this cheeseburger in a can is spreading like wildfire across the Web. Apparently you just open up the can and take out the cheeseburger, and maybe heat it up somehow before you eat it. Amazing. I guess these mean we're really prepared for the zombie apocalypse.

The "Cheeseburger in a Can," sold by a German outdoors retailer called Trekking Mahlzeiten, is only 257 calories, which is awesome, but it still costs 3.95 euros, which our lousy exchange rate translates into about six bucks. Can or no can, that's just exorbitant; I'll only eat a six-dollar hamburger if it's served at a restaurant with a full bar and a mechanical bull...with really tasty fries on the side.

OH god. Not something I wanna eat.

WTF I would much rather eat one I made myself.

In a Can WTF kinda crap is this? Why in a can? Why not in a plastic bag?

Did you take a look at the advert? It shows a real burger next to the can. You can tell its not a canned burger because its bigger than the can. Not to mention vegetables look a whole lot different than canned..

I it has bread in it canning will be useless because all the processes that make canning useful by preserving food would destroy the bread and freeze drying wouldn't work since rehydrating it would destroy the bread.

wtf
I can has cheezburger in a can NOT ?
I wonder what the actual thing looks like, when I looked at the picture it was first thing I thought, like 'ok, so where's the pic of the canned burger?'

And the price is insane, I don't know the prices in USA but here I'd buy like 3-4 burgers for 6$

Haha, why did you name this "And Now For Something Completely Different"? I saw it on the sidebar and thought it was going to be about the Monty Python movie. If anyone else has seen it, or if it was an intentional reference, my favorite scene is the self defense against fruit class. I laughed so hard when I saw it for the first time.
Anyway, this really is a disturbing concept. Is it an actual thing, or is it just a joke article?

Um....

yeah..

right...

Strange. Yeah, I hate sloppy, compressed burgers. I guess this is maybe only for hardcore adventurers who love burgers. But how can one become a hardcore adventurer if you all eat burgers? Haha, maybe it helps to roll down mountains lolz.

Hey, you can take those canned burgers on the road and heat them in this!

Meee
02-01-2008, 05:26 PM
no, the exhaust just heats metal
unless it can get past metal somehow...

If you think about it it's easier to find a McDonalds than a canned cheeseburger...
