They got rid of all the icons we used as pets for both the terrans and the protoss.

Does this mean, there will never been Pet Icons for the zerg?

On topic: Why would they even change it? The old way with icons was much better looking and took less space on the screen

Think of all the people who were selling their stuff and collecting money for the Zerg :D
But I guess this is an end to the current pets as well since there's not much point in keeping them without completing the collection with all the units, not to mention the complete lack of Zerg pets.

It isn't that hard indeed, but you would never be able to implement them in the site when the admin is away all the time... Why don't you guys use some of my userbars until then? I can always make more if a lot of people use them. ;)

Why would it be fake like that? The current pets are all made of the mini images from starcraft2.com if I am correct. Sadly, those aren't available at the moment, so no mini images for the Zerg... yet.

Because all you need to do is find the right picture and put a frame.
That might be a problem since we don't have a Zerg one...

You have no chance of achieving the same style and look as the ones already made, period. Look at the angle at which zealots, carriers, ghosts, and all others are shown. Good luck trying to extract that angle from screenshots or artwork ;)

But seriously, I hope that the site will be converted back to the old style soon, because this looks kinda cheap. Also, I want the new Zerg pets to look just as nice as the old ones. :D
