Anyone played F.E.A.R?

Was just wondering if anyone here ever played F.E.A.R? Personally i like it, makes my heart jump (few things do) and the adrenaline flow. And of course i am talking about the single-player campaign (i am a single-player in pretty much all games 'cept SC, WC3 and AvP2).

Yeah i am actually quite excited. :)
Been trying to find Extraction Point for some time, then found it available for order. Jumped at it right away, so it'll be in the mailbox in a week or so.

Eh, it's ok, my friend has already spoiled most of the facts such as <mumble> and <mumble> dying, the latter dying in quite a grisly but impressive manner.

i love FEAR. especially when you begin climbing down the ladder and you turn around....then you climb down and turn around.....holymcjizzles
and of course slide-kicking skellies into the wall and making them spastic rofl
have you tried multiplayer? i havent but my friend said the kicks look insane on multi

I never used the kicks. I also played on the hardest setting where everything raped you in a couple shots and if you were close enough to kick someone, you were already dead.

FEAR singleplayer was easyas.....well during the 5 hours or so i spent on it neways
even without slowmo. dey giv you too many health packs lik z0mgs lolwtf

Which difficulty did you play on?

I did the hardest one but it was very easy because of save points and health packs. Just couldn't run out of cover and attack people.
Once I was on a balcony and there were people below it and on another balcony farther down so I jumped off and shot someone in the face with a shotgun and then turned around right as someone rounded the corner and I shot him in the face too.

hardest.....it was harder playing without quick save though. quick-save > slowmo
even against those super fast ninja guys you didnt need slowmo. they were kinda useless. if you've got reflexes you just hide in the corner with a shotgun or penetrator.

my shining moment was when i saw alma for the first time and afta trying to shoot her i "CHARGED IN FOR THE EMPEROR"

the worse ive ever done was shoot a guy at his foot off the catwalk and left him dangling upside down on the wall. then i started flyjump scissor kicking it and made it sway....o.0

F.E.A.R just ended just like that. Nothing happened except that huge explosion. You didn't even kill that little girl.

In Prey you forsake the chance to be a god. You could have controlled that entire fleet and used it to fight bad guys and not take over earth. Plus the whole you never actually die thing was dumb because it made it way too easy. And not letting me start on the hard mode was dumb cause I don't like playing on easy mode. So really, you already were a god in a way, you just didn't have powers. Had you accepted the guy's offer, you would have been immortal and had powers. Bad decision in my opinion.

I got this game a few days ago on my 360, it's not that scary so far.. the only real thing that made me jump is when the Zombie guy hits you with a board of wood in the most random spot.

i heard stalker and that bio fps game thingamy had scary environments. as in creepy not shocking. and stalker multiplayer = high ping = players hovering along the ground lol (playing from over here anyways)

Lol, F.E.A.R is scary as. I jumped everytime the soldiers appeared. lol. And flew when the ***** appeared.
