IMPORTANT: Shop Notice

The Hyperion is currently attempting to inventory everyones items so in theory after the the forum update everyone will have what they currently have at the moment. However, since the recording is rather time consuming and it likely won't be updated before the site update ANYTHING YOU BUY FROM THIS POINT ON MAY BE LOST AFTER THE UPDATE. I can't stress that enough, but, hopefully this is good news to most of you, we aren't making any promises yet though.

Maybe you should get more people to help you then since it takes so long. Offer rewards on a per page basis and you'll have everything inventoried in a day

Yes it would take many days if you kept going through it over and over. Though you should check it again at least once to make sure there weren't any errors.

No absolutely not Dark, the whole point of the forum is to disscuss a game we are all anticpating, this is just a notice for people who enjoy participating in shop activities. Also minerals, are being handled sepereatly of items, so while there may be some delay in recording it shouldn't be as much as with items.

@GMG I truly don't know, I think the only person that could really answer that question is the admin. This is just a notice so people won't keep buying items, also it serves as a explanation of what happened if a person is missing a brand new item after the update.

I have a question:

If we no longer wanted one of your pets, would it be possible to get the mineral equivalent for them instead of getting them and trying to sell them in the trade center (which hardly anyone uses btw)?

ex. I 'm trying to get zerg pets now, and want to get rid of my protoss ones, trying to sell them in the center would take months, whereas just getting the minerals at the start and not having the pets would make things much easier and quicker for the member (ie: me).

hmm... also, will something like... the ability to sell back your item to the shop for minerals and possibly doing this will make the item available to the public to buy that item again?

The trade center is the most underused thing IMO. Hardly anyone ever buys things there. One of my old frames was in the center for only 100 minerals, and it took 2 months before someone finally bought it.

Even underpriced, it would most likely take months before someone would buy my pets.

i think the ability to sell your stuff to the shop is a fine idea, i mean if you buy like a frame for 500 min, you can sell it back to the shop 50% or below original price

I was thinking maybe 10%-20% off at most. At a 50% deduction, no one would use it. It would be too much of a loss, and most would prefer to have it i the center for months at a time.

Here is another warning and reminder, don't buy anything your not willing to lose before the move.

Also, since it is coming to my attention some people did not see this warning, if anyone has made a purchase they fear will be lost in the move, you can PM me about it. But if you do, I expect the mistake to be worthy of the attention, (aka don't PM over a single Zergling or anything frivolous like that). Also this isn't an invitation to go shopping and then call it a mistake, if I come under that belief expect there to be consequnces.

I tried to sell my protoss pets in favor for zerg ones. But then the site was going to change, so I stopped all selling/buying on the forum.

i had a friend gift me 2 pets... which doesn't seem like it would be of any benefit if i only got the minerals back(probably based on posting counts) and not the pets.
