Amazing! I would really love to go but I have way too many financial obligations as we speak. Darn. Good luck to those who do receive the (free) opportunity to get up close and personal with StarCraft 2.

While I could get time off work, I do not have $500 to spend on a round trip airplane ticket to the other side of the country.

I'd really like to go. I am really interested in seeing how the play mechanics have changed...and I have a DIGITAL CAMERA!! I also write lots and could totally disclose info on all the new units and all... :good:

I'm in the same shoes as you Paragon.

Why does everything good gotta be in Cali?  The east coast is as good as any other.  Even if it was NY or florida, I'd drive there.  Sigh~

Sucks worse for us in the Midwest, Remy. At least some things happen on the East Coast, so you can go to like 40% of everything, but nothing ever happens in the Midwest. And both coasts are too expensive to fly to (we're talking 400-500 USD per person round trip :( ).
Ah well, hopefully the sc2forum spies will bring us the goodies!

Ouch! You got me beat there T-man. I feel sorry for you.

Now are you in the area with tornadoes, floods, or heat spells? Or Montana where it's just you and your cousin's family in the whole state?

Man, i wish i could go!

Unfortunately im only 13. Yeah, i know.... I'm mature for my age.

Well, if i was aloud to go, it would be too expensive for my family :( But i can't wait until i do go or something.

I live in Australia. So it would be REALLY fun to go there. But it would also be REALLY hard to get there.

BTW. 100th post

Austrailia? How's everything down under? I'm over here in Miami and it has been hot as hell recently. Hows the heat over there? Over here it really isn't the temperature that kills you, it's the humidity!

I would go, but I'd be spending all of my money on the ticket...(at the very least) 500 is just for the ticket, but then you have to rent a car, think about food, and get a room and all of that random crap

other than that i can get time off and I have a camera and my posts are coherent :(

EDIT: Oh yeah and then I have nobody to go with to take pictures of me while I'd be losing my mind

I like to go, considering it's a 8 hour drive from where I live to LA. But anyhow, I need to go back to work of posting all my pictures that I taken on my trip to Italy ^^ (Though I have to admit that some of the people there are very very rude ><)

If I get a Ticket I am down to meet up. I don't have a friend to go with, so it would be good to atleast know someone out there who is going. I will know by Monday, just like everyone else.

Hello. I am seeking eligibility for a VIP Blizzcon ticket and would like to introduce myself to the forums. My name is Aamir Shah and I am 18 years old. I live in Texas and often play StarCraft, WarCraft III, and Counter-Strike. I also enjoy playing Basketball and Chess. StarCraft is my favorite game of all time because of its futuristic RTS nature and I have been eagerly awaiting StarCraft 2 since I first heard rumors of it 4 or 5 years back. If chosen for a VIP ticket I will be reporting accurately and very detailed. I also express a desire to meet up with others who have tickets as well because, to me, everyone there will be strangers. :P If I receive a ticket, I can meet up with Tym29 and drewcbarnard, and whoever else would like company. StarCraft 2 has the potential to be the greatest game known to man! Lets hope I'm there to witness the first playable demo :)

Well, I don't have a ticket as of now. Hopefully that will change this coming Monday. Regardless, welcome to the forums and goodluck with respect to your quest for one of the five VIP Tickets. Btw, make sure you explore this forum and get involved with it, there is alot to offer. This forum is pretty unique from others I have joined previously because it has alot to offer and it's members contribute alot to the sharing of information. If there is anything you need to know, just ask someone. Have a good one!

Thank you so much I’m really looking forward to representing all of you at BlizzCon. I definitely want to meet up with who ever else would like to when we get there. Also I think that would be the best way to get the most out of the time we will have there.
(Someone can be taking video while someone else plays the demo etc.) This is going to be so fun. Its going to be hard to wait through the next couple of weeks.
Now that I have a ticket the dark alley meeting won't be necessary we could just meet at the convention. ;D
