First wrong section

2 modem or router? Your modem comes from the ISP and is network transparent so it should affect gameplay. If your ISP is shaping trafic though that might do something.

As for your router make sure the NAT is working right and the correct ports are open

I would suggest a 56k modem. Anything higher is just a waste of money.

How am I a troll? Because I stated my opinion that dial-up is better, I'm a troll? Lots of people still use dial-up.

I turned over a new leaf. I no longer spam topics nor do I smother children. And sorry if I didn't help the OP, if you got the money go with Comcast if they're in your area.

Be carful with Comcast. They have been doing some nasty bandwidth shaping recently by throttling P2P traffic (torrents and such)

I wish there was comcast in my area, I'm using 56k modem. It is slow but you really cannot beat the price.

Why does it say that Bird of Prey is an Admiral, and I am a Corporal. I'm an Admiral, I'm not Corporal Ackbar. In fact I have not been a Corporal since I led the attack on the Imperial base at Ghorman VI.

Don't you remember? You were demoted after they found out you stole Home One
