BlizzCon. What would you like to know.

I am one of the contenders for the BlizzCon VIP tickets, and as such would like everyone’s input on things they would like the 5 lucky winners to focus on. As we are all avid StarCraft fans, desperately waiting for the release of StarCraft 2, lots of attention from the winners will surely be focused on the game play and mechanics of the game, however I wanted to know if there are any special requests that people may have of the winners.

The reason for this posting is that while I have been following the details of StarCraft 2 I must admit I do not follow the rest of the Blizzard lineup, and sure that others here must want details on other products. The winners of the BlizzCon VIP tickets are ‘our’ representatives and should try and address your concerns.

Although I'm more of a Warcraft player than StarCraft currently but I know for sure once StarCraft 2 hits shelves it'll steal a good majority of my WoW time ;D

I would like to see as much video footage of the event as possible :P
but you probably shouldnt worry about that becuase of organisations like gamespot, pc gamer ect will probably be covering everything with cameras.

I'd like a first hand account of how the game feels when you play it. Make sure that it runs smooth and how far along you think the game is. If it feels like an alpha then it probably isn't the smoothed out yet. I don't know how much you'll be able to play but any feedback on the games mechanics would be good.

i wanna know how effective units are. on paper, everything looks great, but in practice, things are different.
o and i wanna know if blackhole has friendly fire.

I am also one of the contender, but if I did not win it, I wanted to know whether the zerg and/or the terran will recieve any new unit that will balance out the MS of the protoss and will they release any trailers that features the new units for zerg and terran.

I personally would like to see some info on the Terrans and if anything has changed units/gameplay/technologies wise since the demo video.

Yep, I forgot to mention, "Before training camp."
You know, I think the Protoss that we are going to learn at BlizzConn is going to be somewhat different then the Protoss that we know currently. Dustin Browder stated that alot of units that we know currently are going to get some changes. At that time, we still haven't learned all the new Terran toys/mechanics. So from that, I am assuming the Protoss are going to be quite different.

We will just have to wait a see. Just 5 more days.

What I really want is that Vindicators replace the Soul Hunters. They both wielded the same weapon basically. I don't mind that the Vindicators mechanic works the same as the Soul Hunters as long as they rename it and remodel it to the exact same thing as the Vindicators.

Dustin Browder stated that alot of units that we know as of now are going to get changed and perhaps have combined abilities. Maybe we might see the introduction to the Vindicators at BlizzConn. Hehe.

The 1up play session/interview said they started off with 4 probes, so it'll probably be the same for the final version.

Sorry to go off topic but I was about to comment how much I liked ych9's avatar and frame (the zerg one) cause it really matched well. But you changed it!! THis one still looks good but I like the other better ;P only cause I'm a zerg fan.


Haha thanks. The reason due to all the changes is because I am having some huge problem choosing what race I want to stick with and master for SC2. In Sc1, I always randomed, but I was never very good with 1 race. I want to master 1 race in SC2 but all the races seems soo cool.

Today, I might like the Protoss, tomorrow the Zerg, then Terrans. I always keep changing my mind and I can't help it. AHH!!! Someone HELP ME PLS!!!
