I hate when people say they render something when they just cut it out of a picture.
Rendering is the process in which you make a 3D scene in a program such as 3DS Max or Maya and press the render button. Depending on lighting, polygons, etc... this could take a long time.

And nice err...cut picture is it? Yes, nice cut picture. Although, I wonder if it'd possible to make a rotating render of a Colossus. Hmm...
