Weaknesses: Kryptonite (which would be implented 3 patches later)
Counter-unit: Horse(only available trough Mind Controlling a Horse critter); can paralyze Superman.

I used to give a particular unit (one that distinguished itself from the rest by either having the most kills, being the loan survivor of a nasty skirmish, or--through micro--displayed some amazing feats of combat prowess) a name. I've had Bob the marine, a brave soul who survived a failed expansion with nothing more than 3hp against the horrifying might of the zerg computer in vanilla Starcraft; Sloppy Joe the reaver, who died a heroic death after single-handedly holding off the armies of three of my friends at a LAN long enough for me to send reinforcements; and finally Frank, the High Templar who, alongside Joey the Shuttle, managed to make his way through a small hole in my opponent's defenses and destroy his economy with a well placed psionic storm, only to lose his life in the attempt to retreat.

I don't really name my units anymore, mostly because those who play against me at LANs have gotten much better, and it's rare that any single unit of mine distinguishes itself anymore. Still, the mere mention of Sloppy Joe is enough to send some of my friends into hysterics.
