I have looked around and searched for other topics on this subject, so don't kill me if it is a repeat. :)
Anyway, do you think there should be an unit auto-arrange feature in SC2? If any of you have played Age of Mythology, you might know what I'm talking about. Example: you select a few units, maybe an Immortal and a few Zealots, then you move them somewhere nearby. In SC1, the units would just move there in no particular order. With auto-arrange, the units would line up evenly and according to rank (e.g. the Immortal, seeing as it is a more "important" unit, would go to the front) and once they reach the destination, they would be perfectly in line.
On the same topic, the units that were selected would all travel at the same pace, e.g. if the Immortal is the slowest, the Zealots would slow down to the speed of the Immortal to group together and reach the destination at the same time. In Starcraft 1, it became very annoying when moving a group of marines and a seige tank somewhere: by the time the marines reached their location, the tank would still be struggling to get out of the base.
Btw, I thought that the auto-arrange option can be turned on or off at any time, should some players get annoyed with it.
What are your thoughts? :)
