I voted for World of WarCraft because it is a piece of **** game where all you do is cookie cutter quests involving either:
1) genocide of some type/race of unit
2) finding an item for someone
3) a combination of the first two

I vote World of Warcraft, if for no other reason than it's the only game on there I haven't played (and, based on what I've heard from those who do, have no intention of doing so any time soon). The rest I've played and at least somewhat liked (although I'm still a little undecided about the Diablo series-a bit too repetitive for my tastes), and I loved Starcraft and Brood War.

And yes, I'd also like to know who voted Brood War...

World of Warcraft, it was fun the first few years but now I can't get myself to play it. But I do love MMORPG and I can't wait to play Warhammer Online :thumbup:

maybe its a mistake. i like starcraft. anyway

heres my explanation.

number 1. i did not based it on multiplayer value or game play value (the balance and competitive thing etc.) I obviously based it on the experienced playing it.

number 2. i also based it on the campaign, map editors, cinematics, and fun with playing and comparing items(diablo) with your friends etc.)

number 3. all the expansions are certainly not in the lower half (diablo lord of destruction, frozen throne, and broodwar) of my list.

and lastly, i never played WOW. but i think its a great online game. (i think it should be exempterd on my choices.. or else it would be my least fave :P )

so im left with 3 choices for the lower 3 (starcraft, warcraft III, and diablo II). ok, i love all blizzard games. i played all of them. im not going to be bias because im on a starcraft forum. anyway its starcraft orignal and no sc2. and im not here on this forum because starcraft is my fave blizzard game, actually i dont really know which one is. im here for starcraft 2.

ok here it is. warcraft 3 reign of chaos was overwhelming the first time i played it, best 3d game(i dont know what its called, rts? multiplayer?) game i ever played for a long while. it own everything i experienced playing starcraft and diablo II in the late 90's. warcraft III was new and the campaign was awesome.

so only 2 left. when i first played starcraft original, i was still young around 15 i think. i played the campaign using cheats, i did not understand the story and skip the most part of it because i can't understand much english back then. so i played just for fun without giving me that "experience" factor but still it was something special. fortunately i played broodwar 2 years after. 8) i only started playing lan games with my friends when broodwar came out and it was one of the best things to do ever. 8)

i first played diablo II 1 and a half years later than starcraft. i played it in 2 straight years after the first time i played it on my slow computer (yes eveything was lag when i played diablo back then). i mean the experience of the diablo campaign is unbelievable, making your character stronger, learning new skill, acquiring new item, and trying to kill all boses and the 3 prime evil was something new and groundbreaking for me.

so there you go.....so i guess my least fave would be starcraft. (its not that bad, all this games are good! blizzard is the best). like i said its a hard choice. nothings wrong with that.

and i cried when i choose and type starcraft as my least fave among the list.

I chose Brood War, all of the awesome people die in it.

Why doesn't anyone like WoW? It's not like it's THAT bad, WoW is one of the best MMO's out there to date. Sure, you might have to pay for it, but that's so they can update the game and fix bugs. I don't really play it anymore, but it was the funnest thing to do a few years ago, when there was 30-40 man world PvP raids.

World of Warcraft. I played a Paladin until level 63 and then I realized...
"My god. This game sucks." And I logged out for a long time.

1) Quests are repetetive. Find here. Kill everything there. Pick up 400 of these. Did I mention they take forever to drop? Come back after. Find this item in the demon infested catacombs. Find here. Escort prisoner back through some more catacombs.
2) The assholes you can meet amaze me. Or the idiots you meet. There are good players out there... but if I counted the good guys I found in my months of playing, I wouldn't even get to my toes.
3) Leveling from 1 - 70? ...No thanks. Atleast Diablo leveling was fast.
4) Spending 2 - 4 hours doing the same thing, killing the same bosses, every weekend with a bossy 16 - 28 year old? ...Right.

I still pop onto my Tauren Warrior to play with the guys in real life, but I play it how I want to and if a group doesn't take me because I don't carry a shield like the brick wall I'm supposed to be, that's too bad. They'll have to spend another 10 minutes finding one.

I play City of Heroes now, which may be a pay every month MMORPG, but it's not addicting. You can play at your own pace because since there are so many possible class combinations to play as, so people are always making new characters.
Missions aren't frustrating, they can take 5 minutes to 20 minutes.
Level 50 doesn't sound like a challenge. Plus you actually get a reward for hitting maximum level... NEW CLASSES. Woot.
Since all MMORPGs are knives, sticks, and tomes, superheroes and villains bring something new to the MMORPG table.

I don't play MMOs as much as RTSes though Paragon. I've actually rediscovered Age of Empires 1 and Age of... Kings? In fact, I haven't played CoH for almost 2 weeks.

I like to play regicides and be like spec ops teams...I attack the castle with a bunch of trebuchets and paladins and skirmishers and kill the thing then run away quick so I don't have to deal with killing every last building on the map

I put WC3 RoC, simply becauss it was not nearly as good as SC. Frozen Throne was a mild improvement over just RoC so it beats it.

I can understand why people don't like WoW. It is a genere that some people just don't like. Personally I love WoW. I remember camping the WoW forums for over a year before the Beta even started. I've only played 2 MMO's and WoW was so much funner than EQ it isn't even funny.

All that said, the Starcraft and Diablo series are still my top two favorite games from Blizzard or anyone else.

It means that more people prefer MMO to RTS. MMOs are becoming the new trend, alot of MMOs are beeing made (alot which will suck). I know that beeing on a SC2 forum, everybody is a RTS fanboi, but MMOs are more popular and way more people like them.

I would have to say Diablo 2.

Now, with all the blizzard series (WC,SC and D) I played them in that order. I loved warcraft to bits, starcraft grabbed a hold on me, and diablo to me just seems.....dungeony to the max. Sure its interesting for the random loot drop, but personally i cant abide the graphics ( not only reason) and because it didnt HOLD me. It just never grabbed me in so much. Whereas both of the craft games pretty much said "Hey, keep playing because just over that next rise, we might resolve the world, or universe shattering dilemma.
