StarCraft2Forum.org coverage of the WWI convention in Paris, France starts today! Nikzad and myself are covering the event from the multitude of press and, in fact, we are at the moment awaiting the Blizzard presentation of their newest program.
We will continue to provide you with updates as we learn them. In the meantime we have a couple of interesting tidbits for you all. After playing the game a bit this morning, there are clearly some marked changes.* For instance, the Corruptor can now be morphed with only the lair tech, giving the Zerg a powerful anti-air unit at the earliest tier two possible. *
Also, we can confirm movement on the Swarm Guardian and its attack.* It attacks only ground units with an initial damage of 20 and spawns broodlings (about as weak as .5 zergling) who have a very short life span and low HP.* However, these little guys are great at drawing enemy fire.
We will continue to keep you updated! *
Nice to see you giving us da heads up
Man. I can't wait to learn more about SC2!!!

I just managed to tune in, and I've got to say the HQ stream is excellent. SC2 is just on but they're not showing the screen for some reason. Thor still has two lives, nice.

I cant get it to work, but I think its because of my Media Player!? Does anyone know how to change it so it uses an other Player?

Can we ask for tommorow's list of panels and the times?
On the Live streaming page there is no mention of which panel will be show and I don't want to wait a panel and discover that it's about WoW. Please help me; I don't want to wake at 3am to be told ''hey everyone, we are going to talk about flying ponies''
Seriously I started the streaming and it was WoW questions again, the guy's important WWI question was ''I will ask a question about one of the most important aspect of WoW. Will there be any new flying mounts in the upcoming expansion?''
Worst is, he was dead serious and waiting for a positive answer with all his heart. I waited to see his face crushed with despair when the designer would answer no. But that never happened (most probably he took pity and hinted to something mount related) :(

Sc2 competitive play is on at stage 2. The nomad has the old model.
I will be updating this post with new or interesting information for those who have no chance of tuning in.
Starcraft II
zealots don't move faster than unupgraded SC1 zealots, by the looks of it
building placement is still grid based, but you can construct buildings very close to each other to wall off anything (unlike in SC1 where small units could pass between certain pairs of buildings)
constructions can be queued and the probe will start warping in one after the other
apparently Karune isn't such a good player :D
medivac heal is just a ray of white light going down to the injured unit
Diablo III
fire, cold, lightning, poison, and arcane are the current damage types in Diablo III
damage types affect the way the monster dies
monster + explosion = awesome is the basic equation of special effects (those are the exact words used)
relearning skills is a possibility
items: pants, shoulder pads
established lore (for monsters, characters, story) is followed and will not be changed without good reason
it's a secret whether there will be a secret (cow) level

Kuvasz don't forget the manibule like defence for Zerg, that acts like a sunken 1x1 building. I can't remember the name , but his has ''Colony'' at the end of it.
And the Roach seems managable for Terran in early game even with the regen. I think they got this unit right.

I'm so glad for this relatively heavy music. Since many people attended the invitational, I thought the concerts will be more mainstream and sort of neutral to please many people and upset as few as possible :)
I had no idea they were in a band (Samwise and Chris), or is this just a one off thing? Either way, the music is nice.
