yea I drive a 2002 Olds Alero GX 4 door sedan.
It's nice and it was cheap. It's all I need to get by and fuel economy is decent. I just want my dad's 2007 Camry.
haha yea when I have the money... I'll demand a Z4... just need to get through med school haha

I got a '92 honda Accord DX. It was handed down to me from my sister and she nvr took care so I am fixing it up. I already chaged the master cylinder and muffler and will replace the water pump and timing belt by the end of the summer. I need to buy 4 good quality speakers and a head unit with an MP3 player jack and removable face plate, anyone have any suggestions? I would like to spend 350-400, but no more than 500...

Depending on where I'm going.....
'68 Camaro, mildly hot-rodded
OR
Toyota Yaris.
Yesh, opposite ends of the spectrum.
EDIT: I shall post pics, though not of my own, cause I'm too lazy to find my camera. Just so you know what they are.
Camaro (Closest I could find that looks like mine, bad rez, sorry)

How big are the speakers for your Honda? 6 x 9s? 6s? And for your header unit, I suggest looking for the Kenwood Excelon series. I got a KDC-X990 for $190 and it does its job pretty damn well.
I drive my parents' 98 toyota camry right now.
Anyway I'm hoping to get a loan to get the Nissan 350Z once I get a full time job.

Are you looking for 2-way or 3-way? If it does not matter to you and you just want high quality speakers, I recommend getting JBL or Infinity.

My mom's Toyota Corolla. I drive it to work and use it to drive my sister to work. I don't plan to get my own car until after college. Everyone I tell thinks it's really weird, like it's blasphemy to not have, or even want, a car. Excardon me for not wanting to spend (large amounts of) money that I don't need to!

I drive my mum's '99 or '00 BMW 528i
EDIT: JBL is all showy packaging, like the Alienware of speakers. Klipsch (if they do car audio, I'm not sure), Pioneer, Alpine

except that alienware is actually a damn good computer. I'm guessing you don't have an alienware, know nobody who has one, and look down on it mainly because you can't afford it?
Nikzad
07-11-2007, 02:57 PM
no, I can afford an alienware, but since I have heard complaints from my friends who have them and it's supposedly gotten worse once Dell bought them, I don't think it would be worth my money
to clarify, I have heard that you pay a lot for the case

Audi A4 (the new version) i also drive my parents 2007 Honda Civic. it's pretty nice, but when i am at my parents in Geneva, i don't feel like driving there, so I fly from Zurich every 3-4 months. i do take road trips there every 5 weeks, when my job allows me time off
Nikzad

thats so wierd, when I first saw your name, I assumed you drove a TT
Zurich is nice, are you a native Swiss?
my uncle lives in Geneva, coincidentally enough, but I've yet to visit him there...it's only been a few months since he moved there from work
[LightMare]
07-11-2007, 03:41 PM
no, but TT is nice. it's TT because you know the crying face? T.T or TT.TT yeah. Zurich is a nice city, but there is quite a bit of pollution in some areas. Geneva is a very nice city. but my french is not so good. yeah, Native Swiss. but i'm not a chocolatier :P
Nikzad
07-11-2007, 03:46 PM
I asked if you were native Swiss because I had a long layover in Zurich once and EVERYBODY smokes
maybe that's why the pollution is so bad haha
I also noticed a few cool things - going back to cars - although BMWs and Benz are classy here, they are taxis in Zurich...high rollers drive Audis ^^
so if you are not French speaking, then you speak German? there is also a chance you speak Italian, right? Switzerland is cool in that depending on where in the country you are, there are different primary languages spoken
PS - awesome train system

Whats the difference between 2-way and 3-way?
A 2-way speaker has just a tweeter and a woofer, the 3-way speaker combines what the 2-way has and places a midrange (depending on brand). This usually results in better and smoother sound. The higher you go the more things you get and the clearer the sound.

It no hungry for gasoline, it hungry for hot pocket!!!
Instead of purchasing the TEIN product I mentioned in my first post, I decided to go with Eibach's pro-kit lowering springs. Me and my dad dropped the car 1.1 inch and it took about five hours.
