I have a quick question... Can someone tell me why an SCV has 60hp opposed to the other workers 40hp? Never made any sense to me...

Cuz SCV's have the least range and attack speed of the workers, so they had to give it a little more hp to prevent worker rushes, yes, there is such a thing as a worker rush and it is completely pyscotic, I use them often xD

I know there are worker rushes, which are lame! Who wants to play a game that lasts no more than 5 minutes? They always have been one of my biggest pet peeves, damn worker rushes...

worker rushes when done properly can defeat your oppenent and rather satisfactory while being defeated by a worker rush is veeeery humiliating. I know.. i've been defeated by one caught completly by surprise :(

I remember once I was playing vs toss and I knew exactly where he was cuz i scouted real early so I attacked with all my workers and as SCV's had more hp it only took a couple of minute b4 i decimated all his workers ands stated siegeing his base lol. Talk about basics.

haha do it to a computer and its even better cause they are just like "OMG CHASE THAT SCV!" and they all go and ignore the minerals hehe.

I don´t know if this is somekind of ultimate fact but scv´s hp must be highr than probes or drones because toss have regenerative shields,,, and drones, well they have regenerative estructure. Someone might say that scv´s can repair each others but still, 60hp is fair

I scouted my enemy's base once in a TvZ game and he had a Spawning pool but wasn't doing anything with it, he was going for an early tech so I quickly built a few Marines and extra SCVs then sent all of them over, SCVs blocking the Zerglings and Drones while my Marines were shooting.
If that attack had failed...
