Lets see i like Starcraft :D ...... I also like the Sims 2, Simcity 4, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, Midnight Club II.
I like Britney Spears, but ONLY her earlier songs like Baby one more time, Oops I did it again, Crazy, Lucky, etc. Those songs are SO addictive and I still listen to them everyday.
I recently got my liscense and I love cruising around.

I used to play Starcraft a lot, but I never took a special liking to Blizzard (not that I disliked them). Now I'm a heavy WoW player (ugh, I know). The first clan I ever ran was a Starcraft one that I ran with a friend. Dunno how the hell I handled that when I was only twelve.

I've got four cats (formerly five) and a dog, plus a brother, a sister, two (twin) step-brothers and an almost-step-brother.

Greetings fellow space fans, Jecrell here.

I've been playing video games since I was about 3 years old, and I've been using the internet since I was about 7 years old, and I'm 20 now, so I've been around so to speak. And, suffice to say, I'm an addict to video games and the internet.

The original Starcraft and Brood War expansion set provided some of the best gameplay I've ever experienced as a gamer. It tickled my gray matter in such a way that it has left a sensation of joy from way back when. Of course, that is not to say that Blizzard can't do better with more time and more money. Although nostalgia will always make Starcraft a classic, I'm certain that there are good things to come.

My favorite pass-time in Starcraft was playing a custom map called The Thing, where no one could tell who was who (all teams were the same color) and one player controlled a character that could turn into The Thing (an ultralisk) at any time. The scenario was also set in a frost covered tileset, and only if you were inside a building complex could you keep warm -- if you went outside or if the power went off, players had a chance to die of the cold. Of course, there are fireplaces around just-incase the power is violently turned off by any player...

I am 20 years old and a college student from a small suburb of Chicago. I love playing games even though I suck at most of them. Its more about having fun than it is about winning for me. Which means I am the kind of person who will lose 9 times out of 10, but the one time I do win it will be because I Zergling rushed you while you were defending you base against somebody else.

I have been fairly active in the new Newegg forum however they only have one topic and one thread about Starcraft 2 which totally wasn't doing it for me. So I figured a whole forum dedicated to it should be good enough! :D

It's true playing cooperatively is a lot more fun especially if there is a chat going on. Me and my buddies from college would always join up to the same game and then cooperate because we were in the same game. My ex roomie would always play WoW and do the same sort of thing over Ventrillo. In any case, it was always great fun and I have great hopes and expectations for more fun to come!

May I add that I also play Magic: the Gathering but I'm not so active, and I don't go to tournaments.
I love sneaky characters and/or tactics. Solid Snake, Snake Eyes, Batman, Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher, and Rikimaru, are some of my favorite characters. Aftrer I watched the SC2 videos on youtube, Stalkers made me want to go Protoss LOL. I hope SC2 will involve more cheesy sneak attacks hehehe.

I love Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 too, and I'm a big fan of Half-Life 1 & 2 + Counter-Strike.

I play guitar, trumpet, harmonica and am thinking of taking up violin. I listen 70% to rock 'n' roll, mostly metal, but I must admit that I love classical, folk, some hip-hop and a bit of everything else too. ;D

I wish I had some sheep for it to herd. I work part-time at a mail sorting place, it's really boring and the pay's pretty ****, but hey money's money. Hello, folks. I'm kinda new to this forum (and pretty much to SC also), so I thought it would be polite to introduce myself briefly.

In person I'm pretty shy and introvert as my Finnish countrymen tend to be. I'm currently studying in upper-secondary school so I don't have any time to work. My main hobbies are reading (17th century is my thing) and playing guitar. I've been playing for quite a while now, yet I'm still no good. The greatest bands in history are Black Sabbath, Tarot and Iron Maiden. I also like some games like Starcraft. My appearance is a bit strange since I'm quite slender (191cm/62kg) and my hair is very long.

I've been looking for a nice forum for some time and I hope my search is over.

I know the game "N" but have only clocked maybe 1 or 2 hours total on it. Quite fun for a game such as it is. I don't know anyone who has even got halfway in it even but then again I only know of my brother playing it other than me.

He is a lot taller than I am. That's about 203cm, so he's almost 5 inches taller than me. And for me it's just funny that most people have to look up to talk to meÂ* 8)

been playing about half a year since it came out and have spent most my sc time on ums till maybe a year ago?
i generally play protoss, and nearly 100% specialize on protoss on 1v1 fastestmappossible because IMO toss are rigged on fmpsÂ* :thumbup:. on bgh im "trying" to actively get better at playing zerg, especially with mutling control =D.
on use map settings i play nearly anything. not too into defences unless it's conpetitive or RLY HARD n requires teamwork, and not into bounds full stop lol.

In Germany to you measure height by meters?
6' 0" is 183 cm (1.83 Meters)
an inch is 2.5 cm I believe.
5 inches smaller.
5 * 2.5 = 12.5 cm
1.83 - 0.125 = 1.705m
Thats what I worked out anyway.. around there.

I lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the first 17 years of my life before moving to Connecticut for my senior year of high school (yea those were not good times). I'm a huge swimmer and I run because I have to. I played Starcraft back in '98 at my cousins house all the time then buying both SC and BW in '99. Currently, I play counterstrike 1.6, but now I'm up for another round of starcraft (I hope SC2 comes before med school ooooo pleaseee).

Welcome aboard, DDDx.

You could try creating multiple hatcheries and hotkeying them. Hotkeys make it easy to keep on creating those creatures while you are scouting, defending or expanding (for example). Rely on colonies at chokepoint until your legions are ready to take over.

Um.. hey *nervous shuffle* Im 17 ( 18 in 3 days woot!) and my intrests include starcraft, guitar, starcraft reading and starcraft. I can be a bit talkative so If I anoy u PM me and I will shut up.

As for SC my favorite race is the Terran but by far my best race is zerg. I play SC almost every day when Im not hangin with friends or playin guitar.
