I will be so pissed if blizzard puts pandas on one of the characters in the game. I was really dissapointed they did that to the demon hunter. Just tottally took away an edge of badass-ness. Anyway just wondering if ppl were feeling the same way about how blizz integrated pandas in war3 (tho brewmaster was sorta cool).

I think they're talking about the Panderaan things that you could have as a hero in FT.

The first is a Demon Hunter with panda blade guards or something

Second is the brewmaster which is an actual panda with liquor

And yeah they might. They did similar things in SC1 with a long running joke about how Starcraft was originally intended to be Warcraft in space and Artanis states "This isn't warcraft in space!"

it's a screenshot from warcraft 3, a rts and he was talking about warcraft 3 for the whole time.. the topic creator simply forgot to mention wc3 in his post.

and we are in the "OTHER BLIZZARD GAMES" section.. which is all about games by blizzard that aren't starcraft 1 nor starcraft 2.

I really didn't get the idea of pandas the first time i saw them, but after I thought about it a little. It started to make sense. Blizzard opened up the door for a lot of new races by bringing a new continent into the Warcraft world, so pandas could happen.

But at least they made pandas into some pretty bad ass drunks. Just coat your enemy in a lil happy liquor, breath some fire, then kick his ass with 3 different pandas at once. Next time he will remember to leave a tip :P

I have played both WC3 and TFT till the end of every campaign and hav'nt encountered a single panda (other then those on illidans blade-things), and those pretty much ruined his character.

Starcraft was not meant to be warcraft in space.  That came about due to very negative comments about the SC1 alpha.  They called it "Warcraft gone purple"

The other inside joke of course is the infamous nonexistent Cow Level of Diablo.

OH and BTW.

When one panda sexually harasses another panda the second party of the second panda may sue the first party of the first panda.

and he is later in the bonus campaign
now he is one of the best DotA hero's around
the demon hunter did look like a ***** with a panda on his glaives and not much better when he becomes a

The Pandas are/were hilarious.

Maybe this inside joke has run its course though? Blizzard, I loved them, it was funny. New material is always good too.

i saw demon hunters panda icons a looooong time ago.... i was fooling around in DOTA, i zoomed in and out, then i saw the panda in his blades ..... then pandaren killed me......... first blood ;D

The panda is a great hero in WC3 games and in Footmen, but not that much in Dota. NIght Stalker is better. :D
All though I hate Dota at the moment. Footy FTW!

Panda owns in DOTA, hes just so hard to play, even for a skilled player like me...
