Probe sounds

Since there are so many big important threads going already, I figured it might be okay to post a ... not so important one? Not so main big important one?

I was just wondering what you all thought about the Protoss Probe sounds. Personally, I think they're absolutely adorable! I specifically like the sound that's close to "Meow!", and the "Nyaww" one it makes when he wants to build somewhere but can't cause something's in the way. It's so sad! It sounds a lot like a Dutch equivalent of "awww" too, only Protoss-like.

I also like how when you click it a lot it tried to speak English with you, even attempting a "what do you need" (aww! I just thought, it's still trying to help! Okay, it's just cute).

I like the Choo-ah! sound the best.

And the error message is just sad. You really feel it's disappointment when you can't build there.

That's true they look cute too =P and it's fun trying to type out their sounds - it kinda ends up differently for everyone =D

LOL me too sometimes, though not always I guess... especially when giving them lotsa orders... each time it makes a noise, repeating it exactly sounds cool XD

EDIT: I just took a look... and you're right! It's really cute! =P lol lol... guess it's just I dunno, their determination, willingness to help, just the way they look in general, bravely carrying that chunk of minerals... ::swoons::

i think one of the things that make starcraft1 so good is the sounds and death animations, theres nothing more staisfying than killing a zergling. they way it explodes and the sound it makes, makes it sound worth killing.

The Protoss are not so much communist. Their ruling system is more sort of aristocracy or whatever that term is......
With the Zerg, that's the way their genetics and biology are, there needs to be a central control or they'll run wild!!

the protoss are more of a theocracy with the religous beliefs in society and the religous ruling class actually.
the Overmind is kim-john-il the cerebrates are like his high command and every thing else is bassically "my life for the hive".
the terran are surprisingly lacking in back story but asfar as i know their are no corporations.

3 things,
1. i have thouraly studied the writings of Marx and Engles, read the communist manifesto and Mao's little red book.

2.i realize that the majority of people on the internet who say they are commies,probably wouldn't share with their neighbors a bushel of grain, or a mineral field. In all truth, you can take anything a person says on the internet to seriously.
