Should Diablo3 videos also be placed posted here? It's still BlizzCon related, but it's in a subforum of StarCraft2 Discussion.

i meant of the awsome gameplay panel thats on youtube (featuring campaign) and the 1 min cinematic.

The gameplay vid they provided was terrible, 0 of it was single player ;/ so no cool death animations, almost 0 use of their physics engine etc, and the sound was just as bad.

The observer interface looks promising, and the commentary for the first game was really good, especially with the "run spine crawler, run! aaww..."
Definitely worth staying up till 2 am.

My thoughts on a few things: the colossus is useless and can barely kill zergligns and workers due to its lateral AOE damage. Zerglings on creep are really really fast and it's easy to surround with them, while hydras are pretty useless against ground. Stalkers with blink can be microed to be very powerful, and seem to have taken the staple unit role of the dragoon. It was new to me that there are certain doodad tress that can be walked over but block sight, which is good to allow interesting tactics.

 

I'm so disappointed. I saw the last 15 minutes of the last match and then it was over. But Blizzard said that they will be putting clips up soon. So far on the Blizzcon site they have clips from the Warcraft III, Starcraft I and WoW tournaments, but no StarCraft II yet.

*sigh* I guess it takes 'em a few hours to process this stuff.

 

Yeah, sorry guys. Should have recorded the SC2 match but we were having too much fun. It was pretty awesome. Dustin is the best commentator EVER!

Jon, does this mean the epic scale is increased in your opinion on the battle side of the game? Seeing as the Spine Crawlers are running in all....

 

Lol I think this is just further proof that SC2 is going to be awesome. Look the dynamics of one of the first pro games!

 

Be sure to let me know when a video of this surfaces Hopefully, that will happen.. and soon..

I had some problems with the stream.. I don't know why I feel so left out!

 

Didn't Blizzard say something at the very end about putting the tournament clips online? So far only the WCIII, SCI and WoW clips are there, but they said something about putting StarCraft II clips up that would give us a good idea of how the races work. Does anyone know more about this and where they will be?
