    Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

I've actually started over with Borderlands on my new computer. Old saves are gone. /cry
Level 28 soldier now after a day or 3 of messing around. Can't wait for Borderlands 2!

I'm kinda sad that they announced it with just a teaser image, instead of a video. But it says a lot. New weapon types (minigun!!), possible dual wielding, upgraded version of Claptrap, and Pyscho Midgets!!

Lemme know sometime if you wanna play btw, I've got a level 40 something Siren that can kill things.

  4. well, cant wait to play that map. it teases me well :p

    Sweet, I'll send a PM or something when I'm around 40! :D
But is it just me, or do you gain to many levels for the quests you're on when you literally kill everything? I've noticed that my character is usually 2-3 levels above the quest mobs, making them incredibly easy to kill.

What playthrough are you on? Things get considerably harder in playthrough 2, and 2.5 is pretty damn tough.

In 1, since I just started over entirely. I didn't actually ever notice that there was a second playthrough.
Is it like a new game +?

Basically, you start anew, but enemies are higher level, as well as a grade up, eg Bruisers become Brutes, Psychos become Maniacs, etc.

Killed the destroyer, nothing happens, lame. Guess I'll start on the DLC now?

I usually leave the DLC till after Playthrough 2, otherwise you get hella overleveled.

Not sure if I can take another playthrough right away, after today's marathon session to finish literally every quest there was without the dlc. ^_^

Well I mean there's nothing to stop you from doing them, you'll just breeze through playthrough 2, both in level and the Pearl weapons you get from General Knoxx (which btw is the most hilarious thing I've ever played)

You keep your weapon and level in playthrough 2? And if I do, will 2,5 be hard anyway?

You keep all your stuff, it's like New Game+. 2.5 is usually hella hard no matter what you do
