You can give powerups once you reach 40 posts then a blue up arrow and red down arrow will appear below every members avatar. Just click on one to rais or lower the power level respectively
You can buy a pet from the forum shop. You get minerals for each post you make and can also win them by scoring 3rd or above in an arcade game or winning a competition.
welcome dude, are you still confused about pets, you can get them here but you need to have enough minerals first
