for those of you that are not going to pay to watch Blizzcon you will now have something that is better than nothing.
gearvOsh, the Admin. of SC2Armory, is going to Blizzcon, and is going to keep us updated to what is going on. (right now updates seem to appear about every hour, as that nothing important is really happening.)

No, it's not. You need to
    1. Pay DirecTV
    2. Live in the states.

  4. .. which is some of the biggest "bullcrap" I've ever heard

I didn't expect that from Blizzard. I wonder what problems they had with WWI that they would need to do this. Oh well, I trust the internet to get me videos. Hopefully someone can TiVo and upload the thing or whatever it is.. I've never recorded something from the TV.

seems to me the infestor could have a different role now. No more swarm or infestation.

No more swarm?! Either it needs to be givin to another unit, or I'm going to cry :'(

Dark Swarm was/is my favorite ability in SC.

  10. Infestor without the Infestation ability? ... That's like a High Templar without storms....

Why isn't this thread in the Blizzcon 2008 board? Anyway.
Phase prisms are warp prisms in the latest build. The info is from the Hungarian SC2 site... also, here are a few pics, I hope I won't get in trouble or anything :D change pages in the bottom right.

That's probably why they wanted to change the name of the Warp Ray then, because they wanted to change the name of the Phase Prism. Having a Warp Prism and a Warp Ray would just be stupid. Are there any other units or abilities with 'Warp', 'Phase' or 'Void' in their names?

I wonder if the Nighthawk name change had a similar reason... :p

  13. ^ I was just thinking the same thing when I found out about the new name change. I guess "Void Ray" is alright then :)

I'm actually already warming up to it :)

    http://www.wcradio.com:8000/listen.pls

one campaign is about 26-30 missions o_O
I think we'll see how Kerrigan got infested

"subtitles" of the 1 minute extract from the 4 minute intro to SC2:
Zeratul: "The zerg came as once fortold and the protoss, creations of the gods, rose up to fight it. Now the Xel'naga return... but do they come to save or to destroy?
*sounds of battle, blades, and shrieks*
    *Kerrigan laughing*
Kerrigan: "I knew you'd find your way here... eventually."

    Order of campaigns: T, Z, P

I thought it was the Dark Templar with the dual scythe and Zeratul with the blade... Am I right?
Pretty standard I guess. Can't really expect more for a Wizard.
Interesting... Horrify and Mass Confusion will probably fall under Voodoo... Or maybe Spirit. Locust Swarm will obviously be under Plague, and Soul Harvest probably under Spirit as well. Skull of Flame... Voodoo? I have no clue what his summons will be under though. Personally I hope that they revamp the spell system so it doesn't completely rely on the Skill Tree based system. All Witch Doctors should be able to get things like Skull of Flame, Summon Mongrel and Locust Swarm, just as all Barbarians should be able to get Cleave, and maybe Leap. I just want the champions to still be diverse, to be a bit more 3D, even if they specialise.
That is absolutely awesome. Takes a bit of pressure off the Skill Tree system as well.
Haha, that made me laugh. :D
Is this as one of their individual upgrades or something? Regardless, Defensive Matrix should remain as a single target cast from the 'Nighthawk'.
I hope Battle Tactics is a memory lapse. Doesn't really fit in with the others. Juggernaut sounds tank, Berserker sounds to be al out damage, so the last should be something similar, but for something in between. Or maybe Juggernaut could be the one in between and the tank, or more defensively based one could be something like Guardian. Then again, it could even go in a third direction, instead of being in between, being something like Ancient, which is more focused on abilities like Hammer of the Ancients, etc.

From the sounds of these trees, I'm betting that the warcries and shouts will be more spread out, not bunched like they were in Diablo2, which's good because warcries should compliment their respective areas. Berserking Barbarians should be able to get aggressive shouts, Juggernaut Barbarians should be able to get more buff shouts, etc, and not have to delve into another tech tree with all the wrong synergies to get the warcries they want.
