OMG I have to play the SC campaign before SC2. What happened to Artanis?

 

he survived and became leader of the protoss race

 

yes, (grr the names are too similar to each other) the last we see of Artanis is when he put the one of the 2 crystals in the temple power thingy, and zap the Zerg off of Shakuras.

 

Oh, I knew about Aldaris, and now I can also recall Artanis blinking after the bug zapper. Does anyone know if we're playing as him in SC2, Zeratul, or someone else (Selendis)?

 

In the Terran campaign focus will be on Jimmy, and in the Zerg and Protoss campaigns focus will be on Kerrigan and Zeratul respectively. You're not really playing as any of them though, since you always see them from a third person perspective.

 

err, last time we see Artanis is in the last Zerg mission. Omega, where there's the Protoss fleet trying to kill Kerrigan

could someone tell me wth is going on with the battlecruiser and the mutalisks?
it seems the all those missiles are coming from the battlecruiser (cept the 2 from the turret) and the trails the missiles made... did the battlecruiser get a new ability or am i slow on news....

 

its the battlecruisers missle barrage, an alternative to yamato cannon.

 

Ayyyyyyyyy! That's not half bad. Though I still reckon Battlecruisers should uses 'clean' attacks, so I preferred when it had the Plasma Torpedoes. Also, I thought that Defensive Matrix was the alternative to Yamato Cannon now.

HOLD IT! Are there any unseen Zerg unit remaining? Two 'creatures' attacking the Marauder in the bottom left. Go!

 

I think its Nighthawk with defensive matrix, plus its AoE according to scwiki, don't mind the barrage but the missles should be bigger, more like the valks.

I read somewhere that Defensive Matrix was a new Battlecruiser augmentation.

And Broodlings?

 

yes, that is what im thinking those creatures are. as for the Defense Matrix on the BC, they might have let it have a choice between 3 abilities, Blizzard is god at the moment. hmm i cant wait for Jon to get back here so he can post his opinion on the races.

 

not according to wiki (imma tired, click the references yourself) but thats a great idea.

Broodlings make sense, if its not them im stumped.

 

according to that wiki you linked it said that the Nighthawk has the ability to detect, lay down Auto-Turret and Spider mines, and have the ability called Targeting Drone. it said that it used to have D Matrix. but that was cut a long while ago.

 

oh right.

Look at the pic, top right , middle right and bottom right. 3 Flying Clocked objects, firing a red beam.
It's too small to be a banshee.... Something the Nighthawks spawns? It's definitely not a turret.

 

yes, i found that earlier, i think it is the Targeting Drone that ive been considering as a rumor.

its supposed to increase the damage on the affected unit by 50% or so. but not very helpful unless your facing the MS, BC, Queen or Ultralisk. as that they have large health that isnt vaporized in just a few tiny shots. (the BC is a maybe)

 

I'm pretty sure you meant "not pretty usefull unlessvs BC..."
