    I will be getting a new laptop.

    Price maximum - $1000. I can probably make it 1100, but it'll be tight.

    So!!!

    Gimme some good ones >.>

    And yes, I understand that desktops are better for gaming, etc.

    cpu. atleast dualcore 3.0ghz, dont go below 2.6ghz
    video card. gtx 450 and ip
    memory. 4gb is sufficient, 2 is a 30sec alt-tab time delay

    I found AN AMAZING FREAKIN SO FREAKIN AMAZING LAPTOP FOR $1200!!!!!!!

    Not gonna tell you specs ;)
    Cuz I wanna get it then brag (not really cuz its not really THAT good but its good lol) :D

    Get a MacBook Pro. Not a laptop for gaming, but the most professional laptop out there. And it does run SC2 on low/medium settings. With the educational discounts you get pretty close to $1100

    I think you should go with toshiba's laptop ..Those are very attractive and good one..

    I forget what brand it was (HP perhaps) it was $900 and it would play SC2 easily going by its specs. Dont recall them all except it had 4 gb memory.

    Laptops are a pain, cause there's always something that breaks. I'm using an X•BOOK 17CL37-ATI6990 QUAD now which is pretty high spec, and has lot's of video power. You can get these in EU, not sure outside of EUThe problems I have is that SC2 chumps up so much video mem that it just gets overheated quickly in such a small case.
