Oh mocking me with you're mothership...:(

I'm concerned with the fuzzyness I'm seeing with the pet pictures. Is it just my monitor or is everyone able to see this? If so, is there a chance that it can be fixed?

Perhaps you could be more precise in describing what you see. And Dark, this is the umpteenth time you don't read previous posts (check the trade centre thread...). Same goes for Eon asking who created the pets. No offence, but did either of you read the thread you posted in, or at the very least the first post? You're making yourselves look like twits.

ps I see the pets perfectly, and they're sharp, with stock GPU and monitor settings... does anyone else think they're blurry?

    @ Kuvasz,

What if second editions were black and white and first were in color?

@ kuvasz. They're definitely not blurry for me.

I did consider that Jon but mildly saturated pets hold two advantages over them. For one, they're easier to recognise what unit it's supposed to be. Secondly, it doesn't make normal editions completely useless and ugly, only less aesthetic while still getting the point across. I didn't want normal editions to be so crappy that 1st editions would become the automatic choice for everyone. Conversely I didn't want poorer forumers to completely miss out on the fun by having to put up with b&w pets.

They look sharp to me. And I am on a freaking low res phone. No problems. :D

But this black and white thing is at least better then just a yellow frame. I mean, how much of a difference did that make? Not a lot in my opinion. :/ Still, maybe you can mess around with the size of them or something? Or would that look messy?

I have orders to constrain everything in the current 38x38 blocks. It's more uniform that way.

You make it sound like I am an evil dictator :p. Anyways for the curious, if an item can be smaller than 38x38 but it should have alpha surrounding it until it takes up a 38x38 space, the reason for this is simple, things look messy if there are these huge size differences between items. Also, things shouldn't be bigger than 38x38 because if someone had enough "big" items they could potentially break the forum layout considering the numbers of pets currently allowed in the postbit.

9 and depending on a couple of things it might be increased to 10.

Do you see any chance of making them display a bit apart? I completely forgot about saving them with a transparent border on the two sides.

    *slaps himself*

I hardly ever read the first post in topics with more than 1 page (I have it set to 40 posts/page) anymore.

Idk why, but the zerg pets looks a little blurred for me, not so much thats it really noticable, but enough that it makes my eyes feel like thier trying to focus on them to sharpen them up.

top is what I see, bottom is with a little sharpen effect.

The bottom line looks more like the icons that represented units at the official site, our old pets. Since I already applied a rather aggressive sharpening to the reduced units I thought I wouldn't go as far as that. Yours don't look bad, but... there's already been a vote and an extensive discussion about this, and nobody mentioned this :\

I guess I just hadn't really noticed it before, maybe because I stopped caring about trying to update stuff when I saw yours were better than the ones I'd been doing.

Overall their good, just wish the zerg ones were very slightly sharper

Yes Eon, that's exactly what I see! So is it fuzzy or is it just a distorted picture because it was resized so much?

Also, I do read the posts. After you said I didn't read them, I went back and read all of them. Trade Center thread... that's a whole different thread...

    ...

...How come I was the only one who noticed the fuzzyness.... :(

Also, I just noticed that on editing a post, those option icons such as the quote message and insert hyperlink icon are fuzzy like the pets too.

I agree that the zerg pets are a bit fuzzy but it's not too bad.

They are so cute, I wanna hug them.

But seriously: they look just fine. Never even noticed that they look a bit unsharp untill others said they did. I only picked Protoss pets since they are the best looking race.
    (But I play Zerg anyway.)
