Is there any particular reason why you aren't answering my questions?

    On a side note:
Rofl. Zerg are all about revolutionizing. They changed the DNA of a dozen species in a few years. :/

Anyway, another question: did you find a good use for the Terran deconstruct ability? Apart from using it when bunkering towards an opponent, I fail to see how it gives players an advantage. Isn't lifting up and relocating a building much more effective?

Last question for now: do all Zerg units burrow just as fast? (and is the delay for them to go invisible the same as in sc1?)

Yup. Those glitches are no more in SC2. The problem in SC1 is that the register only checks about twice a second which means clicking quickly enough will completely cancel a queued (damn that's a dumb word) order.

In SC2 the register checks about 120 times a second. You'll never be able to beat that. ;)

I think that creating Zerglings with highly unstable chemicals in them is quite techy. Or do you think humans could make Banelings out of dogs or something? Further, the Zerg "briefing rooms" certainly had some mechanical looking stuff.

    Anyway: back on topic please.

When you make big units like ultralisks do the eggs grown bigger while its being made or do they hatch from the same size eggs as zerglings?

How does the nydus mechanic work as of now?

They hatch from the same size eggs.

And the Nydus Worm requires Creep to build but one Nydus Warren can produce unlimited numbers of Nydus Worms. So you basically fly your Overlords in, spawn Creep and go. :D

Sorry I just have no idea what this question means.... I don't think the Roach should be axed though.

Restating it. I'd like your opinion, Jon.

EDIT: the smallest of mistakes... Forgot to type "Hydralisk" in that second question. My bad.

Also, Burrow research after Lair? That's horrible! :(

How would you grade th reaper? Was it a solid unit, or was it not as useful as you feel it should be? Are there certain units it has to go with?

as asked by alex in some thread, can the ht phase shift ANY unit? for example can it phase shift motherships, colossi, itself, an archon thats being summoned, a warping unit, eggs, larvae, me, etc.

Go to Jons blizzcon 09 overview, also in the blizzcon 09 column

Q: Ive read an article from teamliquid and they said that marines and hydralisks come out already with the range upgrade, is that true? I just can imagine how painful life would be for zealots, but on the downside here I really really just dont get it with lurkers on tier 3, while the premature lurkers are on 1.5 waiting for a genetic mutation idea.

I don't think this is true but I could be wrong on this count. I didn't double check the range upgrades. But the Hydralisk definitely still has to get the speed upgrade.

Do the terrans still have the "reactor", the building that can be used to build 2 units at once?

    Yup.

Reactors are still around. When attached to Barracks they allow dual production of Marines and Reapers. On Factories - Hellions. On Starports - Medivacs and Vikings.

If I am wrong I guess Jon will have to step in.

    I have two questions.

What is your favorite tactic playing as Protoss vs. Terrans?

And this may sound stupid, but do you get to pick what color your army will be or is it still random?

    @1n5anity,

    Arbiter? lol. :D

I like to use DTs because I feel they're twice as useful and powerful. You can contain the Terran somewhat (don't forget the Orbital Scanner is much cheaper and easier to get now, but they also have to split that energy with the M.U.L.E) with DTs and then once their detection is prevalent or they get Ravens, you can just convert all your DTs into really cheap Archons which are great DPS against Tanks and Thors if you combine them with Immortals.

I also use them against Zerg for the same reason.

the scan is only 20 energy -.-

yes arbiter, 6 arbiters > 2 corsairs btw
ovie speed is hurtful against dts
archons are stronger vs zergs imo
