    Hey,

    I just found a gallery with screenshots from the tech trees and unit lists from all races plus screenshots of all the maps in the beta.

    sweet! i'm glad there's a tutorial thingy built into the game instead of just popup tips all the time.

    Thanks for the info. But next time if you want to share beta info, the mods kindly gave us a beta sub forum to use. And the mods would cry if their new subforum got no love and postibg inside. So next time please use it.

    I have read the entire list. The tech trees look fairly decent. Some things to note ...

    - 125 hp marauder, and 100 hp ghosts ... they have almost as much hp as a tank, yikes!
    - Lurker has been removed from the zerg swarm ... ?
    - Corruptors only "corrupt" buildings... please tell me that is a typo.
    - The Infestor seems to have the spawn infested terran mechanic removed, now it has syphon life (which sounds useless), fungal growth (possibly similar to the defiler's plague), and retains the neural parasite ability. It still has the ability to move while burrowed, yay!
    - There is no Indication of the overseer's spore cloud ability, it seems to only be able to detect, and spawn changlings. Was the spore cloud ability removed or was it forgotten in the list?
    - There is no indication that the nydus worm is still present in the swarm ... has it been removed?!
    - The Raven has a new ability ... point defense drone (which functions alot like the scrapped predator's intercept ability)
    - The sentry has an ability called Guardian Shield... I wonder if it functions like the old science vessel's defensive matrix ability.

    Lurkers are gone.
    Corruptors have a crappy ability; no turret.
    Infestor have lost infested terrans, but Siphon Life isn't totally useless. Fungal Growth is pretty cool since it does damage now. Neural Parasite has been nerfed (it only affects organic units) and it can no longer use abilities while burrowed.
    Spore cloud is gone. Overseers only have changelings. (Some tooltips haven't been updated to mention this, though.)
    The nydus worm is still in the game. It's really powerful now.
    Point defense drone isn't actually new.
    Guardian shield cuts incoming ranged damage by 2. It's kind of weak.

    Some of these changes I am not liking, mostly zerg changes. I want the spore cloud ability back, a simply awesome ability for zerg. I want the corruptors to have their original ability back to turn air units into stationary turrets. I think the infestor should take over the corruptors new ability of temporarily disabling buildings. I don't mind too much that the lurker is gone, it would be nice to see a brand new unit take its place though. And guardian shield does sound epically weak, a buff is in order.

    On the maps, does anyone know what the Novice 1 version of each map was?

    It's the same map but spammed with destructable rocks to deny rushes.

    I cannot see anything using superlind
