As usual, I busied myself with Photoshop instead of doing my homework, and it ended in me creating my first tutorial on a technique I discovered yesterday.

4 easy steps on how to convert images into sketches:

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)

or, if you are using Paint.NET, simply go to effects: artistic: pencil sketch; then change the settings as you see fit. ;D

Paint.net is disgusting. Sorry, but if i wanted to get a free version of PhotoShop, I'd just save up instead.

What is that font in which you wrote sketch style in the beginning?

What's wrong with Paint.net? Why should I spend a few hundred dollars for a program with so many functions that I wont ever use most of them?

I don't do that much photo editing, but when I need to, Paint.net has everything I need, buying photoshop would just be a huge waste of money.

    It's Brush Script MT.

Eon, you are absolutely right. If you're not much of an image editor, then there's no point in spending that much money on it. But if you take me, who doesn't spend any money upgrading his system or on games, it's not such a bad deal. Especially considering the countless hours of fun and entertainment in provides :)

Thanks for the appreciation btw, it's good to know I didn't put it together for no good reason :) Do post your results if you want.
