Getting minerals

• 300 minerals for registering
  [*]100 minerals per referral
  [*]10 minerals for a positive reputation point.
• -10 minerals for a negative reputation point.
  
  [*]0.01 mineral per each character inside a new post. (Does not include spaces or BB code)
  [*]3 minerals per new post
  [*]0.02 minerals per thread view ( if someone looks at your thread YOU earn minerals! )
  [*]10 minerals per new thread
  [*].25 minerals for each new post not by you in your thread.
  [*]5 minerals for each created new poll
  [*]1 mineral per poll vote
  [*].25 minerals per each thread rate
  [*] 0.3% Interest on minerals inside the Bank
• Moderators can and will award you for good posts.
• Moderators can and will deduct minerals for bad posts.
  

Buying Pets

To buy pets you can click on the "Buy Pets" link in the shop navbar up on the top right of your page. You can then select the pet you would like and purchase it.

The cart in essence allows you to create a shopping list of items that you can buy all at once or later once you get the minerals. If something is "in" your cart it can still be sold by the shop and you don't have any sort of reservation on it.

Pet Limits

Your most recent pets will be displayed in your inventory. You can arrange how your pets are displayed in your postbit by going to "Icon Control" and setting up an order you like.

Returning and Trading Pets.

Pets can be returned the shop at anytime by going to your inventory choosing the return option in the drop down box. When you return your pet you will get anywhere between 25% and 50% (still being decided on) of its value back. While there is no trade center per say you can send pets to other members with the gift option in the drop down box in the shop as well as your inventory.

yet there is a 1% deducion when taking minerals out of the bank. I'm not even sure if the bank is worth it atm as I plan to spend them asap on pets.

Regarding the Reputation minerals... (and the absence of thank-you minerals) Wasn't either rep or thanks going to get removed anyways? Having the focus on just one of them seems like a better idea to me, but maybe there's a good reason you have left both in?

 

Don't we get our money back? or at least a compensation cause some of us lost over 10k minerals?

 

The OP doesn't say we get minerals after thanks. Are you sure? Anyway, I think both are worth rewarding.

and seeing as how very few people vote I propose to increase minerals got after votes received to 10, and mineral got for every vote cast to 5 to give some incentive, only in non-SJ threads of course

 

Pet prices and stocks are currently being setup, once this process is finished and the icons finalized the shop should be reopened. If anyone has any input on the current prices/stocks now would be the time to speak up.

 

Lets not do the whole first and second edition crap this time. Infinite stocks for all with the exception of a few UNIQUE collectors items, like kerrican dolls and raynor plushies.

 

Why not? Kuvasz has already built the second edition icons, it has been apart of this forum for awhile now, and it provides some collector's items that aren't super rare like the statues and other things tend to be.

 

Everytime I click on buy pets in the shop toolbar, it says: shop invalid.

Any fix around this?

 

Fixed. Sorry that was an error on my part, I changed one thing and forgot to make a change somewhere else. Anyways, you still can't buy pets yet, a couple of more things need to get finalized before everything goes on sale. The shop should be open by the end of this weekend though.

You shouldn't be able to, even if you tried MaCo. Also, even if you did I don't plan on resseting the minerals again so the only thing you would risk is buying something that may get its price lowered.

 

I think the prices are very accurate, at least as accurate as they need to be.

When adding collectibles... Don't add stuff like Goblin Zeppelins. There's plenty of SC sprites to use before you need to resort to other Blizzard titles.

 

Can we buy them now or not?

 

The shop is now open, have fun. Right now 1st edition Motherships, Carriers, Battlecruisers, and Ultralisks currently have a stock of 0. At 5 random intervals over the next week or two I will make 20% of the total stock for each of those items available (20% is 1 Mothership and 2 of everything else). This is to assure everyone has a fair chance of buying one and that the stock for these top level items don't just go to the people who are online atm. Good Luck.

Except now people will have fair warning about it, instead of the people who are on now just getting lucky.

 

If we had simply gotten rid of that archaic system no one would have to worry about people getting lucky.

I also still think that 5 motherships and 10 of the other big units seems a big small,
